데뷔한 지 약 1년 반 만에 청량돌이자 자체제작 아이돌로 입지를 굳힌 세븐틴이 세 번째 미니앨범 Seventeen 3rd Mini Album ’Going Seventeen’을 발표, 찬란한 열정을 가지고 돌아온다.

타이틀곡 ‘붐붐’을 포함한 신곡 8곡으로 구성된 ’Going Seventeen’은 꿈을 향한 열정이라는 키워드를 가지고 ‘Make A Wish’, ‘Make It Happen’, ‘Make The Seventeen’의 총 세 개 버전으로 발매된다.

세 장의 앨범에서는 세븐틴이 배를 만들어 가는 과정을 통해 그들의 꿈과 열정이 담긴 결과물이 완성되고, 그것을 통해 새로운 세상으로 나아가는 모습을 담았다. 타이틀곡 ‘붐붐’은 이런 꿈과 열정을 통해 목표를 위해 달려갈 때의 설렘과 좋아하는 이성을 봤을 때의 쿵쾅거리는 마음을 ‘붐(BOOM)’이라는 단어를 통해 표현했다. 세븐틴의 열정 넘치는 에너지를 마음껏 느낄 수 있는 곡으로 반복되어 나오는 ‘붐’이 자연스럽게 뇌리에 박혀 쉽게 흥얼거릴 수 있고, 이전보다 더욱 힘찬 세븐틴의 에너지를 느낄 수 있다.
