[Piano man Op. 9] is Leo's third mini-album released in 3 years since the mini-album [MUSE] released in 2019, and it has been 10 months since the digital single [Remains] released after he was discharged from the military.
This album is filled with things unique to 'Leo', enough to quench the long-awaited thirst of fans.
- [Piano man Op. 9]'s opus number '9'
Opus (Opus) means work number. Leo chose this number himself as he is full of affection for the 3rd mini album. To Leo, '9' is a unique number. I was 9 years old when I thought I wanted to live singing 'song' for the first time, and the release date of the first song I wrote in Korean and sang in English was 1999. For artist Leo, '9' was the beginning.
- If it's the scars you left behind, it's alright
The title song 'Losing Game' is a serenade sung by a man devoted to love who does not give up until the end, even though he knows that the person he loves more will lose, and that the person he loves more will be in pain. A man who endlessly expresses his heart toward his partner through playing is immersed in his love by dissolving the pain and suffering of blood in his hands.
- Between Illusion and Reality
The music video depicts a man who is hurt by love but devotedly burns himself. The love that a man sees is presented as a beautiful and dreamy fantasy, but in the reality of seeing it, his clothes are burned and it is directed as a love that retains pain like a withering flower. Here, a dramatic piano playing scene is added to double the sensibility of the breakup, and will show Leo's artistic side without filtering.
