미국에서는 ‘Bon Jovi’,
아시아에서는 ‘정준영밴드’를 선택하여 타이틀 곡 ‘OMG’를 탄생.
이번 앨범의 핵심은 슈스케 출신 정준영이라는 솔로 가수가 아닌 밴드의 결성이다.
그리고 작년 Teenager 앨범에 이어 정준영 자작곡과 거기에 더하여 바닐라 유니티의 리더이자 보컬로 활약 했던 이승주가 공동 작곡가로 같이 참여하였고, 이 두 아티스트의 곡 작업이 진행되면서 밴드 멤버를 물색하여, 약 1년 가량 여러 팀들과의 작업과 합주를 통하여 작년 중순 즈음 밴드의 최종 멤버 구성이 되었다.
과거 바닐라 유니티 3집의 기타리스트 조대민, 밴드 뭉크의 드러머 이현규, 그리고 밴드 뭉크, 판타스틱 드럭스토어의 객원 베이스로도 활동한 정석원이 최종으로 정준영밴드의 멤버로 합류가 되었다.
정준영과 이승주는 시퀀싱을 통하여 기본적인 음악 작업을 한 후 밴드 전체와 지속적인 합주와 연주를 통하여 편곡 작업이 진행 되면서 얼터네이티브에서 하드락을 거쳐 개러지(Garage) 스타일의 밴드 색깔과 정체성을 찾아가며 본 앨범의 그림을 완성 시켰다.
빈티지한 기타 리프로 시작되는 타이틀 곡 ‘OMG’는 정준영 본인이 가장 애착이 깊은 곡으로 밴드 ‘Nickelback’, ‘Daughtry’, ‘Boys Like Girls’ 그리고 ‘Bon Jovi’의 새 앨범의 작업을 진행하고 있는 현재 미국에서 가장 핫한 프로듀서 “Brian Howes”가 공동으로 작곡 및 프로듀싱 작업에 참여하면서, 세션 어래인지부터 Smashing Pumpkins의 새로운 드럼 멤버인 Robin Diaz, 기타에는 Brian Howes와 정준영밴드의 멤버인 조대민이 같이 협연 하면서All Arrange & All Producing을 진행하여 구성과 편곡, 그리고 색다른 사운드의 완성도를 높이며 정준영밴드의 색깔을 더욱더 진하게 만들어냈다.
