ITZY to release new mini album 'TUNNEL VISION' and title track of the same name on November 10th!

The new album features six tracks with an organic musical flow! A stellar lineup of writers, including Dem Joint and Kenzie, join forces.

ITZY will release their new mini-album 'TUNNEL VISION' and its title track of the same name on November 10th.

Since their official debut on February 12, 2019, ITZY has been loved by K-pop fans both domestically and internationally for their solid performances with each project. They also garnered positive responses with their mini-album "Girls Will Be Girls" released in June and their Japanese full-length album "Collector" released in October, respectively, further solidifying their position as "K-pop performance queens."

The new album 'TUNNEL VISION' puts forward 'dangerous immersion' as its main keyword. "Extreme immersion creates 'excessive expansion' or 'complete blocking' of the senses. Extreme immersion is not a state of calm concentration, but an overload of the senses, and through this, the ego undergoes disintegration and reconstruction," this message is infused throughout the album and in the title track. The new song of the same name contains a story of moving toward the light in one's own chosen direction and at one's own pace, even in the chaos of dangerously crossing the two extremes of overheated senses and complete disconnection in tunnel vision. The brass sound that blends with the hip-hop-based beat adds weight and completes the magnificent sound, and the layered vocals expand the sense of space.

The music video was directed by Yoon Seung-rim of Legend Film, who has produced music videos for leading K-pop artists. The video visualizes the process of becoming deeply immersed and absorbed in something, following the explosion of blocked senses and the series of events leading to their ultimate rupture. The intense performance direction adds to the unique visuals. The grooves inspired by Afro and hip-hop dance, the restrained movements, and the various choreography that visualizes tunnels are the key points, increasing the fun of watching the stage. The choreography was created by famous K-pop dance teams Lachika and Kirstin, who have created numerous hit performances, and created synergy with ITZY.

A total of six songs are included, including the title track 'TUNNEL VISION', 'Focus' which sings about the moment when you boldly jump into a new goal, 'DYT' which conveys a confident way of loving, 'Flicker' which speaks of possibility in uncertain situations, 'Nocturne' which emphasizes awareness to escape from darkness, and '8-BIT HEART' which depicts the process of finding your true self. It is composed of an organic narrative of finding your own light and identity, creating a dramatic musical flow.

This album was completed with the help of top-notch writers, including Dem Jointz, a famous American composer and producer who has collaborated with famous international artists such as Eminem and Rihanna, and Kenzie, a representative K-pop producer.

ITZY는 2019년 2월 12일 정식 데뷔 이래 매 작품 탄탄한 실력을 겸비한 무대를 보여주며 국내외 K팝 팬들로부터 사랑받고 있다. 앞서 6월과 10월 각 발표한 미니 음반 'Girls Will Be Girls'(걸스 윌 비 걸스), 일본 정규 앨범 'Collector'(컬렉터)로도 호응을 모으며 'K팝 퍼포먼스 퀸' 활약을 이어갔다.

신보 'TUNNEL VISION'은 '위험한 몰입'을 주요 키워드로 내세웠다.
