Forestella's debut album, the winning team of JTBC's 'Phantom Singer 2' (2017), Korea's first male crossover quartet project!
Forestella is a team composed of tenor Cho Min-kyu and bass Ko Woo-rim, both from the Department of Vocal Music at Seoul National University, who have a classical background, musical actor Bae Doo-hoon, and former chemistry researcher Kang Hyeong-ho.
This debut album contains six new songs composed for Forestella by ZigZag Note, a producing team that worked with BTS and B1A4, and composer Kim Jin-hwan.
Forestella presents a sweet ballad through the title song 'You are my star', and you can also feel the romantic atmosphere of spring through 'Journey of Love' with a splendid melody.
Forestella's debut album [Evolution] includes 'In un'altra vita', which was sung in the first round of the first round of the Phantom Singer 2 finals, and 'Dell`amore Non Si Sa' and 'L`immensita', which were sung by a trio and duo. A re-arranged version as a quartet version was also included.

포레스텔라는 서울대 성악과 출신으로 클래식 배경을 가지고 있는 테너 조민규와 베이스 고우림, 뮤지컬 배우 배두훈과 화학 연구원 출신인 강형호로 이루어진 팀으로 폭 넓은 음악적인 스펙트럼을 보여주며 팬텀싱어2에서 화려하게 우승했다.
이번 데뷔 앨범에는 방탄소년단, B1A4 등과 함께 작업한 프로듀싱팀 지그재그 노트(ZigZag Note)와 작곡가 김진환 등이 포레스텔라를 위해 작곡한 신곡 6곡이 수록되었다.
포레스텔라는 타이틀 곡 ‘You are my star’를 통해 감미로운 발라드를 선보이며 화려한 선율이 돋보이는 ‘사랑의 여정’을 통해 봄을 맞이한 로맨틱한 분위기도 느낄 수 있다.
포레스텔라의 데뷔 앨범 [Evolution]에는 팬텀싱어 2 결승 1차전 1라운드에서 불렀던 ‘In un'altra vita’를 수록했으며 트리오와 듀오 대결해서 불렀던 ‘Dell`amore Non Si Sa’와 ‘L`immensita’를 4중창 버전으로 재 편곡한 버전도 수록했다.
