Billlie, who is in the limelight as a unique storytelling idol of the 4th generation, made a comeback with her third mini-album [the Billage of perception: chapter two].
With his solid skills, Billy released his debut album [the Billage of perception: chapter one] in November of last year about the 'mysterious story of a girl named Billie Love disappearing on a purple rain day on the 11th'. announced the prelude to the epic story that contained the story of Billy's gaze. In the [the collective soul and unconscious] series released last December and February, various stories experienced in reality were explained through the medium of dreams and unconsciousness, and one narrative was realized in two storytelling methods. Billlie, who is in the limelight as a unique storytelling idol of the 4th generation, made a comeback with her third mini-album [the Billage of perception: chapter two].
With his solid skills, Billy released his debut album [the Billage of perception: chapter one] in November of last year about the 'mysterious story of a girl named Billie Love disappearing on a purple rain day on the 11th'. announced the prelude to the epic story that contained the story of Billy's gaze. In the [the collective soul and unconscious] series released last December and February, various stories experienced in reality were explained through the medium of dreams and unconsciousness, and one narrative was realized in two storytelling methods. 영국의 동화 작가 로알드 달의 1988년 작 소설 '마틸다'에서 모티브를 삼은 본 작의 서브 타이틀곡 'B'rave ~ a song for Matilda'는 실은 아주 작은 능력일지라도 우리 모두 다 남들과는 다른 능력이 하나씩은 있다는 의미를 방백 형식으로 표현하고 있다.
90's urban groove가 느껴지는 R&B pop 곡으로, sophisticated한 moog bass와 elec piano 위에 적재적소에 배치된 talkbox가 퓨젼된 편곡이 강렬한 바이브를 뿜는다. 4살부터 찰스 디킨스의 '위대한 유산', '니콜라스 니클비'와 윌리엄 포크너의 '음향과 분노'를 완독하고, 정직하지 못한 어른들에 대항하는 소설 속 주인공 'Matilda'의 실제 대사 같기도 한 흥미로운 가사는 곡 전체의 완성도를 높인다.

타이틀곡 'RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world)'는 70년대 풍의 크런치한 오버드라이브 기타 리프로 시작되는 정통 hard rock 넘버이다. 트윈 기타, 베이스, 오르간, 드럼의 실제 연주로 이뤄진 인스트루먼트 트랙과 뇌리에 강렬히 남는 기타 프레이즈 위에 펼쳐지는 와우 페달을 사용한 블루지한 기타 솔로는 hard rock의 해리티지를 빌리만의 방식으로 완벽하게 재구현한다.
빌리의 시작을 알린 데뷔 앨범 타이틀곡 'RING X RING' 도입의 강렬한 사이렌 소리에 이어진 이번 이야기는, 아이에서 어른이 되거나, 학생에서 사회인이 되는 등 우리가 성장하면서 마주하게 되는 삶의 변곡점과 터닝포인트를 맞이할 때 느끼는 감정, 새로운 시작과 다짐에 대한 이야기를 담고 있다.
