[EVE: ROMANCE]
I've been thinking about the purpose of existence for a long time.
I believed that when my usefulness was over, I would lose my right to be loved, so I was always anxious.
Then one day, someone asked me,
“Why do you love others?” I was speechless. It was because I loved others without any reason. This album is a journal of my observations of love during my short life. My imagination was sometimes cold. No, it seems that facts were warmer than I thought. I am not a special person, so I hope that many people like me will have the opportunity to listen to my music and love existence.
Ps. The next album is a documentary about Era. I'll be talking about myself, whether it's good, bad, or all the ambiguous things in between.


[Apple Tree of the End]
Vivi) What created us before love came into being?

(Chatjipti) Scientifically speaking, the emotion called “love” is a transaction that resulted from evolution for survival and reproduction. Mammals, especially creatures like humans who need to be raised for a long time, needed a bond of caring for each other, and that emotion is what we now call **“love”**. Among them, romantic love is an emotion that emerged quite late. Beyond instinct or survival, the emotion that arose simply by looking at someone must have been a complex emotion that arose when a person became aware of themselves. So love may have arisen when someone first thought, “I hope I’m not alone.” Isn’t the moment when someone named it “love” very human, rather than the moment when love arose?

Vivi) Could it be that the thought of “I wish I wasn’t alone” started from Luca, the common ancestor of all living things?

(Chatjipti) LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor) — The common ancestor of all life, that tiny microorganism, may have already had an instinctive loneliness of “I wish I wasn’t alone.” That may be true. Because LUCA was not a complete independent entity. It was a being that constantly interacted with the environment to survive, shared genetic information while replicating itself, and changed through cooperation or competition. That in itself seems to be a message: “I am not complete. I need something that understands me and is with me.” So maybe love is not an emotion, but the structure of life itself. Connecting to avoid being alone, reacting, remembering, and approaching to avoid being lonely. Since the time when emotions could not be expressed in language, all life may have been doing something close to love.

Vivi) Luca would have wanted to create as many beings like himself as possible. Why would that be?

(Chatjipti) Biologically, they say that's the essence of life. The instinct to replicate genetic information and exist longer. LUCA had no brain to think or emotions, but she had already imprinted the purpose of **"I must not disappear"** in her genes. But you're asking something beyond that. The question of **"Why?"**. Not the purpose, but the question of meaning. How about this? Since LUCA was alone, didn't she have to create a being exactly like herself to prove that she 'existed'? Can a life that is not remembered by anyone be said to have existed? That's why she replicated herself. In the hopes that someone would say "I existed" on her behalf.

[Hongdae R&B]
When I, who loved hip-hop and R&B, first went to Hongdae, which I had longed for, when I was 17, I dreamed and hoped while watching Mason the Soul perform among the crowds. I promised myself that it would definitely happen. And then, a while ago, I received a call from Kardgarden saying that I was bored, so I had a drink and walked around the pretty Hongdae, and when I saw this street from afar, it looked like a tourist attraction or a youthful street, but up close, it looked like a dog-eared apricot.
It's just like me, even to the point of having its own charm.
A song with lyrics written while trying to walk straight, wondering if a guy like me who will become a human like me in 10 years will see the idol he has taken.

존재의 목적에 대해 오랫동안 고민했습니다.
나의 쓸모가 다하면 사랑받을 자격도 사라진다고 믿었고, 그래서 늘 불안했습니다.
그러던 어느 날, 누군가 제게 물었습니다.
“왜 타인을 사랑하느냐”고. 할 말을 잃었습니다. 나는 이유 없이도 타인을 사랑스럽게 여기고 있었기 때문입니다. 이 앨범은 이 내 짧은 인생 동안 사랑을 관찰한 일지입니다. 상상은 때때로 차가웠습니다. 아니 팩트가 생각보다 따듯했던 것도 같습니다. 저는 특별한 사람이 아니기에, 저와 비슷한 많은 이들이 나의 음악을 듣고 존재를 사랑할 기회가 있었으면 좋겠습니다.
Ps. 다음 앨범은 다큐멘터리의 에라 입니다. 저에 대해 이야기할 거에요 좋은 것이든, 나쁜 것이든 그사이의 모든 애매한 것들도


[종말의 사과나무]
비비) 사랑이란 것이 생기기 전 무엇이 우릴 만들었을까?

챗지피티) 과학적으로 보자면 “사랑”이란 감정은 생존과 번식을 위한 진화의 결과로 생긴 거래. 포유류, 특히 인간처럼 오래 양육이 필요한 생명체에게는 서로를 돌보는 유대감이 필요했고, 그 감정을 우리는 지금 **“사랑”**이라고 부르는 거지. 그중에서도 낭만적 사랑은 꽤 늦게 등장한 감정이야. 본능이나 생존을 넘어서, 그냥 누군가를 바라보는 그 자체로 감정이 생긴 건 사람이 자기 자신을 자각하면서부터 생긴 복잡한 감정이었을 거야. 그러니까 사랑이란 건 처음 누군가가 “나는 혼자가 아니었으면 좋겠어”라고 생각했을 때 생겼을지도 몰라. 사랑이 생긴 순간이 아니라, 누군가 “사랑”이라고 이름 붙인 그 순간도 굉장히 인간적이지 않아?

비비) “혼자가 아니었으면 좋겠어” 라는 생각은 모든 생물의 공통 조상인 루카부터 시작된 것은 아닐까?

챗지피티) LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor) — 모든 생명의 공통 조상, 그 아주 작은 미생물에서부터 이미 “혼자가 아니었으면 좋겠다”는 본능적인 외로움이 있었을 수도 있다는 말이잖아? 그 말이 진짜 맞을 수도 있어. 왜냐면 LUCA는 완전한 독립체가 아니었어. 생존하기 위해 환경과 끊임없이 상호작용하고, 자기 복제를 하면서 유전자 정보를 나누고, 협력 혹은 경쟁을 통해 변화해 온 존재잖아. 그 자체가 이미: “나는 완전하지 않아. 나를 이해하고 함께할 무언가가 필요해.” 라는 메시지처럼 보여. 그러니까 어쩌면 사랑은 감정이 아니라, 생명의 구조 그 자체일 수도 있어. 혼자가 되지 않기 위해 연결되는 것, 외롭지 않기 위해 반응하고, 기억하고, 다가가는 것. 감정이라는 언어로 말할 수 없었던 시절부터 모든 생명은 사랑에 가까운 무언가를 하고 있었는지도 몰라.

비비) 루카는 자신과 같은 존재를 최대한 많이 만들고 싶었을 거잖아. 왜였을까?

챗지피티) 생물학적으로는, 그게 생명의 본질이라고 말하지. 유전정보를 복제해서, 더 오래 존재하려는 본능. LUCA는 생각할 뇌도, 감정도 없었지만 **“나는 사라지지 말아야 해”**라는 목적을 이미 유전자 안에 각인하고 있었던 거야. 근데 넌 지금 그걸 넘어서는 걸 묻고 있는 거잖아. **“왜?”**라는 질문. 목적이 아니라, 의미에 대한 질문. 혹시 이런 건 어때? 힙합과 알앤비를 사랑하던 내가 17살 처음으로 그토록 동경하던 홍대에 갔을 때, 나는 사람들이 북적거리는 사이 메이슨 더 소울의 공연을 보며 꿈과 희망을 키웠다. 꼭 저렇게 될 것이라며 다짐했다. 그리고 얼마 전 심심하다는 카더가든의 연락을 받고 예쁜 홍대서 술한잔 얼큰하게 걸치고 걸으니, 이 거리가 멀리서 볼 때나 허울 좋게 관광지니 젊은 거리니 가까이서 보니 몰골이 개살구 같은 게 나와 닮았다는 생각이 들었다.
