미니앨범 발매에 앞서 ‘좋은 음악’의 신드롬을 일으킨 ‘오늘 취하면(Feat.창모)(Prod. by SUGA)’으로 대중들의 많은 사랑과 기대를 받으며 ‘무적의 신예’로 거듭난 수란(SURAN)이 그동안 걸어온 자신의 색깔과 이야기를 담은 미니앨범 [ WALKIN’ ]을 공개한다.
수란(SURAN)의 ‘지금까지 늘 같은 발걸음으로 꾸준히 걸어왔고 걸어가는 중이며 앞으로도 계속할 것이다.’는 의지를 담은 첫 미니앨범 [WALKIN’]은 총 5곡이 수록되어있다. 각 곡의 주제는 다르지만 수란(SURAN) 특유의 자유로움과 매력적인 다양한 음색이 담겨 있으며 전반적으로 CHILL 한 사운드가 두드러지는 감각적인 앨범이다.

특히 이번 수란의 미니앨범을 위해 최고의 뮤지션들인 프라이머리, 스윙스, 탁(TAK), 창모, 슈가 등이 모여 힘을 합쳤으며 타이틀 곡인 ‘1+1=0’에 에릭 벨린저(Eric Bellinger), 앤더슨 팩(Anderson .Paak), 시드(Syd)등 세계적인 뮤지션들과의 협업과 트렌디한 감각의 노래들로 사랑받고있는 Dean이 프로듀싱 및 피쳐링으로 참여하여 더 큰 기대를 모은다.

뮤직비디오에는 키썸, 서인국, 매드클라운, 정기고 등 다양한 아티스트들과 꾸준한 작업을 하고 있는 콧수염필름즈가 참여하여 통통 튀는 리듬에 메세지가 확실한 가사를 기조에 두고 반복적인 일상에서 잠시나마 일탈을 꿈꾸다 다시 일상으로 돌아오는 그 순간을 위트있고 캐치하게 표현하였다. 몽환적이면서도 감각적으로 표현된 애니메이션이 또 하나의 감상 포인트다.
