11 teams of musicians selected by the festival audience and the Umuji team participated, and recording and mixing were handled by director Oh Hyeong-seok of Titan Recording Studio, a top-notch studio in Korea, who was with Umuji as a partner. 팬데믹 시대에 침체되어 있는 라이브 음악씬에 활력을 불어넣을 '우무지 스튜디오 라이브 VOL.1''우무지 스튜디오 라이브 VOL.1' 프로젝트는 2021년 3월 인디 라이브 공연장을 살리기 위한 '#우리의무대를지켜주세요 온라인 뮤직 페스티벌'의 후속 프로젝트로, 라이브 음악씬과 뮤지션, 그리고 이들을 지지하고 응원하는 팬들과 음악을 통해 함께 감동을 나누기 위한 라이브 앨범 제작 프로젝트다.
생동감있는 라이브 음악의 매력을 선사하기 위해 원테이크 연주를 녹음하였다. 또한 원테이크 라이브 연주 장면을 촬영하여 현장감있는 뮤직비디오로도 선보인다.
펑크록, 하드록, 모던락부터 스래시 메탈까지 다양한 라이브 음악으로 팬들의 귀를 즐겁게 해줄 것이다.
페스티벌의 관객과 우무지 팀이 선정한 11팀의 뮤지션이 참여하였으며, 녹음과 믹싱은 우무지와 뜻을 함께 하여 파트너로서 함께 한 국내 정상급 스튜디오 타이탄 레코딩 스튜디오의 오형석 감독이 맡았다. 마스터링은 레드제플린(Led Zeppelin), 로열블러드(Royal Blood), 프로디지(Prodigy), 더 킬러스(The Killers), 해리빅버튼(HarryBigButton) 등과 호흡을 맞춰온 영국 메트로폴리스의 존 데이비스(John Davis)가 함께 했다.
