Did you say that there is no end to learning? After going through growing pains and blooming beautifully, MONSTA X prepares for a new path of growth toward a brilliant future with the regular 1st repackage album 'Shine Forever'.

From May 2016 to March 2017, MONSTA X spread the storytelling of growth through the 2.5 part project 'The Clan' series for about a year. 'Part. 1 Lost', the boys who drew the process of realizing their inner pain and being healed, 'Part. 2 Guilty' found the value of innocence through the story of confronting the absurd world. The long-awaited first full-length album 'Part 2.5 Beautiful' showed strong steps to protect the beauty of the value found. MONSTA X represented those wounded souls and bore the fruit of growth while protecting the pure values they found on their own.

MONSTA X, who has preserved their beauty, is now their turn to shine brilliantly. MONSTA X wanders in search of a ray of hope with the repackage album 'Shine Forever'. Like travelers who rely on the North Star shining alone in the dark night sky to find their way, MONSTA X does not let go of hope to find the light even if they get lost. It is a desire for endless learning and growth.

In the repackage album, two new songs, 'Shine Forever' and 'Gravity', were added to the existing regular album. The title song 'Shine Forever' was written and composed by Rishi, STEREO14, and BiNTAGE and rap-made by Jooheon and IM. It is a dance song that combines future bass and hip-hop elements. ‘I want to get drunk with the light that is you forever’ expressed MONSTA X’s strong and romantic love method. This is in line with MONSTA X's growth storytelling to move towards the light. The song that starts out in a solemn way becomes more intense towards the end, burning the will to grow.
'Gravity' is an Urban Dance genre, composed by Joombas Music Group's RE:ONE and Davey Nate, and written by Mafly, Jooheon and IM. 'Gravity', with its minimal song composition and lyrical melody, is soft and contrasts with 'Shine Forever', showing MONSTA X's excellent pace control.

A beautiful ending was added to the perfect ending. At the same time, preparations for new growth have been completed. ‘학무지경(學無止境)’, 배움에는 끝이 없다고 했던가. 성장통을 겪으며 아름답게 피어났던 몬스타엑스는 정규 1집 리패키지 앨범 ‘샤인 포에버(Shine Forever)’로 찬란한 미래를 향한 새로운 성장의 길을 준비한다.

2016년 5월부터 2017년 3월까지, 몬스타엑스는 약 1년 동안 2.5부작 프로젝트 ‘더 클랜’ 시리즈로 성장의 스토리텔링을 펼쳤다. ‘Part. 1 Lost’에서 내면의 아픔을 깨닫고 치유되는 과정을 그렸던 소년들은 ‘Part. 2 Guilty’에서 부조리한 세상에 맞서는 이야기로 순수함이란 가치를 찾았다. 대망의 첫 정규 앨범 ‘Part 2.5 Beautiful’은 찾아낸 가치의 아름다움을 지키기 위해 힘찬 발걸음을 보여줬다. 몬스타엑스는 그렇게 상처 입은 영혼들을 대변했고, 스스로 찾아낸 순수한 가치를 지켜내며 성장의 결실을 맺었다.

리패키지 앨범에는 기존 정규 앨범에 ‘샤인 포에버’와 ‘그래비티(Gravity)’ 두 개의 신곡이 새로이 더해졌다. 타이틀곡 ‘샤인 포에버’는 리시, STEREO14, BiNTAGE가 작사, 작곡하고 주헌과 I.M이 랩메이킹한 곡으로 퓨처 베이스와 힙합적 요소가 결합된 댄스곡이다. ‘영원히 너라는 빛에 취하고 싶다’는 몬스타엑스만의 강하고도 로맨틱한 사랑법을 표현했다. 이는 빛을 향해 나아가겠다는 몬스타엑스의 성장 스토리텔링과 맞물린다. 비장하게 시작되는 곡은 끝으로 갈수록 강렬해지면서 성장에의 의지를 불태운다.
