Description (Translated):

The OST of “Maestra,” which received much love for its high-quality background music, will be released. Unlike recent Korean drama music that focuses only on functionality, the background music of “Maestra” is a work of consistent theme music with original melodies and styles and their variations, making it a worthy collection. Music director Cho Seong-woo, who pioneered a genre of Korean film music with his own unique lyrical style, clearly showed his own musical color through the drama “Maestra.” In the Original Sound Track for 'Maestra' album released this time, the track list was composed by selecting the music used in the most important scenes in the drama.

This album contains a total of 22 tracks, including a total of 7 vocal songs including Sumi Jo's “Today for Me,” the original symphony ‘Sunflower’, variations on the theme music used in major scenes of the drama, and classical music engraved in the drama. Consists of. The 1st to 4th movements of the symphony 'Sunflower' were included separately at the end of the track, and the remaining tracks were organized in an order that allows you to recall the overall content of the drama just by listening.

As a drama produced with an orchestra in the background, all the performance music used in this play was recorded directly by domestic and foreign orchestras. In particular, in the case of the symphony Sunflower and Sumi Jo's “Today for Me,” it was recorded with conductor Joo-heon Han in Vienna, Austria, the home of the orchestra. The recording was performed by the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSO).

In particular, the score of the Sunflower Symphony included with this album is the actual score of the symphony created by Phil Kim and Cha Se-eum in the play, and was produced by conductor Cha Se-eum himself in a completely identical composition to the score used in the concert. This full score sheet music for conductors is produced in miniature form and is provided with a CD, photo book, and photo card.

Description (Original):

완성도 높은 배경음악으로 많은 사랑을 받은 “마에스트라”의 OST 가 발매된다. “마에스트라”의 배경음악은 기능성만을 위주로 하는 최근의 한국 드라마 음악들과 달리 독창적인 선율과 스타일을 갖추고 있는 테마 음악들과 그 변주로 일관성 있게 이루어진 작품으로서 소장용으로 손색이 없다. 자기만의 고유한 서정적 스타일로 한국 영화음악의 한 장르를 개척한 조성우 음악감독이 이번엔 드라마 “마에스트라”를 통해 자기만의 음악적 색깔을 여실히 보여 주었다. 이번에 발매되는 Original Sound Track for 'Maestra' 음반에는 드라마 속의 가장 중요한 장면에 사용된 음악들을 골라 트랙리스트를 구성하였다.

이 음반에는 조수미의 “내겐 오늘”을 포함하여 총 7곡의 보컬곡과 창작 교향곡 '썬플라워', 드라마의 주요장면에 사용되었던 테마 음악의 변주들 및 드라마 속에 각인된 클래식 음악까지 총 22개의 트랙으로 구성되어 있다. 교향곡 '썬플라워' 1~4 악장은 트랙의 맨 끝에 별도로 수록했고, 나머지 트랙들은 듣기만 해도 드라마의 전반적인 내용을 다시 회상할 수 있는 순서로 구성되었다.

오케스트라를 배경으로 제작 된 드라마답게 이번 극 중에 사용된 모든 연주 음악은 직접 국내외 오케스트라를 통해서 녹음되었으며, 특히 교향곡인 Sunflower와 조수미의 “내겐 오늘”의 경우에는 오케스트라의 본고장인 오스트리아 비엔나에서 한주헌 지휘자와 함께 비엔나 라디오 심포니 오케스트라(RSO)의 연주로 녹음이 진행되었다.

특히 이번 음반과 함께 구성되어 있는 Sunflower 교향곡의 악보는 극중 김필과 차세음이 함께 만든 교향곡의 실제 악보로, 지휘자 차세음이 직접 연주회에서 사용한 악보와 완전하게 동일한 구성으로 제작하였다. 이 지휘자용 Full Score 악보는 미니어처 형태로 제작되어 CD, 포토북, 포토카드와 함께 제공된다.
