Description (Translated):
Boy group Empire leader 'Lee Tae-hee' solo EP album “The Light”Boy group 'Empire' leader 'Lee Tae-hee' starts to stand alone with the solo EP album "The Light".
Among the 'Empire' members who went on hiatus after enlisting in the military, Lee Tae-hee, as the first hitter to start a solo career, prepared this EP album with more mature and popular music than the existing idol music.
The title song of Lee Tae-hee's first EP album this time is 'The Light', and Lee Tae-hee participated in writing the lyrics herself and unraveled the story she wanted to convey through the lyrics.
'The Light', a sophisticated pop-rock style song, was composed by 'Harry' and C_RHODES, who participated as arrangers for 'Like That Day' by Deokcheol Jang, and another b-side song, 'Love Crab' was composed by Yang Hong-seop, a hit composer who composed Lee Seung-chul's 'Heeya'. It is a sad ballad song depicting a heartbreaking breakup.
This album also includes the Japanese version of 'The Light', raising expectations for the birth of a new Hallyu star by promising activities in Japan as well as in Korea.

멤버들의 군입대로 휴식기에 들어간 '엠파이어' 멤버 중 이태희는 솔로활동을 시작하는 첫 타자로써 기존 아이돌 음악이 아닌 보다 더 성숙하고 대중적인 음악으로 이번 EP앨범을 준비했다.
이번 이태희의 첫 EP앨범의 타이틀곡은 'The Light'로 이태희가 직접 작사에 참여하여 본인이 전달하고픈 이야기를 가사로 풀어냈다.
세련된 팝락 스타일의 곡인 'The Light'는 '장덕철'의 '그날처럼'의 편곡가로 참여한 'Harry'와 C_RHODES 가 작곡했으며 또 다른 수록곡인 '사랑하는 게'는 이승철의 '희야'를 작곡한 히트 작곡가 양홍섭의 작품으로 가슴 아픈 이별을 그린 슬픈 발라드 곡이다.
이번 앨범에는 'The Light'의 일본어 버전도 포함되어 국내는 물론 일본에서의 활동도 기약하며 새로운 한류스타 탄생의 기대감을 높인다.
