- A mini-album that came back after 3 years
[Piano man Op. 9] is Leo's third mini-album released in 3 years since the mini-album [MUSE] released in 2019, and it has been 10 months since the digital single [Remains] released after he was discharged from the military.
This album is filled with things unique to 'Leo', enough to quench the long-awaited thirst of fans.

- [Piano man Op. 9]'s opus number '9'
Opus (Opus) means work number. Leo chose this number himself as he is full of affection for the 3rd mini album. To Leo, '9' is a unique number. I was 9 years old when I thought I wanted to live singing 'song' for the first time, and the release date of the first song I wrote in Korean and sang in English was 1999. For artist Leo, '9' was the beginning.

- If it's the scars you left behind, it's alright
The title song 'Losing Game' is a serenade sung by a man devoted to love who does not give up until the end, even though he knows that the person he loves more will lose, and that the person he loves more will be in pain. A man who endlessly expresses his heart toward his partner through playing is immersed in his love by dissolving the pain and suffering of blood in his hands.

- Between Illusion and Reality
The music video depicts a man who is hurt by love but devotedly burns himself. The love that a man sees is presented as a beautiful and dreamy fantasy, but in the reality of seeing it, his clothes are burned and it is directed as a love that retains pain like a withering flower. Here, a dramatic piano playing scene is added to double the sensibility of the breakup, and will show Leo's artistic side without filtering.

- 3년 만에 돌아온 미니 앨범
[Piano man Op. 9]은 레오가 2019년 발매한 미니 앨범 [MUSE] 이후 3년 만에 발표하는 세 번째 미니 앨범이자 군 제대 이후 발매했던 디지털 싱글 [남아있어] 이후로는 10개월 만이다.
이번 앨범은 오랜 시간 기다려왔던 팬들의 갈증을 해소해 줄 만큼 '레오' 만의 것으로 가득 채웠다.

- [Piano man Op. 9]의 오푸스 넘버 '9'
오푸스(Opus / Op.)는 작품 번호를 뜻한다. 레오는 미니 3집 앨범에 대한 애정이 가득한 만큼 이 넘버를 직접 정했다. 레오에게 '9'는 남다른 숫자다. 처음으로 '노래'를 부르며 살고 싶다고 생각한 나이 9살, 그리고 영어로 된 곡을 한글로 적어 처음 따라 불러본 곡의 발매일 1999년. 아티스트 레오에게 '9'는 시작이었다.

- 네가 남긴 상처라면 it's alright
타이틀곡 'Losing Game'은 더 사랑하는 사람이 지는 것이라 알고 있음에도, 더 사랑하는 사람이 아픈 것이라 알고 있음에도 끝에 다다르기 전까진 포기하지 않는 사랑에 헌신적인 남자가 부르는 세레나데이다. 상대를 향해 끝없이 자신의 마음을 연주로 표현하는 남자는 손에 피가 나는 고통과 아픔을 자신의 사랑에 녹여가며 몰입한다.
