Kyujong Kim's single album < Play in Nature Part.3 SNOW FLAKE >

On January 1, 2018, Kim Kyu-Jong will simultaneously release the Korean version and Japanese version of his single album < Play in Nature Part.3 SNOW FLAKE >.

Kim Kyu-jong, who established his own territory as an artist by releasing his first single album < Play in Nature Part.1 SPRING > in May and his second single album < Play in Nature Part.2 FOREST > in October, this album < Play in Nature Part.3 SNOW FLAKE > is the last series of < Play in Nature > released as a trilogy in 2017. As much as its meaning is deep, this album is the final version of the acoustic and emotional melodies and lyrics that only Kim Kyu-jong showed on the theme of seasons and nature.

The title song 'Melting' is a song that compares distant memories of love to melting snowflakes, and features calm yet sad lyrics and Kim Kyu-jong's faint voice. In order to maximize the atmosphere, the song is composed only of Kim Kyu-jong's voice and guitar, and it is characterized by increased concentration on the lyrics.

As the title suggests, the b-side song <Spring to Winter> is a song that integrates the concept of <Play in Nature> with lyrics that contain all the feelings of love felt from spring to winter. It compares the beginning and end of Kim Kyu-jong's new challenge, which started with excitement and fear, to love, showing a more mature musical depth.

In addition, both songs were pre-released at Kim Kyu-jong's concert <The Second Piece 'Spring to Winter'>, which lasted from December 16th to 25th, and raised great expectations until the release.

지난 5월 첫 번째 싱글 앨범 < Play in Nature Part.1 SPRING >와 10월 두 번째 싱글 앨범 < Play in Nature Part.2 FOREST >를 발매하며, 아티스트로서 자신만의 영역을 구축한 김규종의 이번 앨범 < Play in Nature Part.3 SNOW FLAKE >은 2017년 3부작으로 발매한 < Play in Nature >의 마지막 시리즈이다. 그 의미의 깊이만큼 이번 앨범은 계절과 자연을 주제로 김규종만이 보여준 어쿠스틱하고 감성적인 멜로디와 가사의 완결판이다.

타이틀 곡 ‘녹는 중’은 사랑에 대한 아득한 기억을 눈꽃이 녹는 것에 비유한 담담하지만 슬픈 가사와 아련한 김규종의 보이스가 돋보이는 곡이다. 분위기를 극대화 하기 위해 김규종의 목소리와 기타로만 곡을 구성해 가사에 대한 집중도를 높인 것이 특징이다.

수록곡 <봄 TO 겨울>은 제목 그대로 봄부터 겨울까지 느끼는 모든 사랑의 감정을 담은 가사가 특징으로 < Play in Nature >의 컨셉을 집약한 곡이다. 설렘과 두려움을 안고 시작한 김규종의 새로운 도전의 시작과 끝을 사랑에 비유해 한층 더 성숙해진 음악적 깊이를 보여준다.
