“DEAN, the starting point of the '130 mood' series”

Falling in love with her at first sight (21), meeting her (i love it), and having a hiatus due to conflict (D (half moon)) and the sadness of parting with her (what2do). As a result, he goes through a period of confusion (Bonnie & Clyde), wanders (pour up), receives a call from her who broke up, and faces reality (how about it).

DEAN debuted in July 2015 with the US singles 'I'm Not Sorry (ft. Eric Bellinger)' and 'Put My Hands On You (ft. Anderson. Paak). Working with artists of various genres such as Alto and Dok2, he is being evaluated as showing a new side of Korean R&B artists.

The title track 'D (half moon) (ft. Gaeko)' contains the image of lovers who do not feel the satisfaction of being together and feel the lack of being only half of what they do. 첫눈에 반한(21) 그녀를 만나 사랑에 빠지고(i love it), 갈등으로 인한 공백기(D (half moon)) 끝에 이별을 맞이한 슬픔(what2do). 그로 인해 착란의 시기(Bonnie & Clyde)를 겪으며 방황하다(풀어 (pour up)), 헤어진 그녀로부터 연락을 받으며 현실과 마주한다(어때).

2015년 7월 US 싱글 ‘I’m Not Sorry (ft. Eric Bellinger)’, ‘Put My Hands On You (ft. Anderson. Paak)으로 데뷔한 DEAN은 이하이ㆍ위너ㆍ아이콘ㆍ엑소ㆍ다이나믹 듀오ㆍ팔로알토ㆍ도끼 등 다양한 장르의 아티스트들과 작업하며 한국R&B 아티스트의 새로운 모습을 보여줬다는 평가를 받고 있다.

타이틀 트랙 ‘D (half moon) (ft. 개코)’는 함께였을 때의 채워짐을 느끼지 못 하고 무엇을 하던 반쪽 밖에 되지 못하는 부족함을 느끼는 연인의 모습을 담았다. '그'는 공허한 마음을 이기지 못 하고 옛 연인의 집으로 찾아가고, '그녀'는 옛 연인과의 기억이 담긴 집에서 옛 기억을 뒤지며 무기력한 모습을 보인다.
