Description (Translated):

Last January, XLOV successfully debuted with each member's delicate charm, expressing the origin of 'unfinished love, the various painful loves they experienced', and they will continue the powerful ambition of the beginning and solidify their position as artists with an even hotter and more provocative appearance.

'ONLY, ONLY I'm tryna be your one and only'
In their debut single [I'mma Be], they signaled that their story is just beginning and that it will not end, making the public anticipate what will come next that will be even more intense. In XLOV's second story [I ONE], which will live up to those expectations, they convey the message that XLOV and all beings in the world are 'irreplaceable' and 'one-of-a-kind' simply by existing, and that 'each of their individual beauties is always burning'.

In the second single album [I ONE], you can find hidden messages everywhere. Along with the main message, 'I am only one in this world', the album can also be expressed as 'I want' by converting ONE into the homonym "Want", and by writing IONE as lOVE, you can also add the meaning of 'love', trying to add the fun of elements like "wordplay".

“I ONE” includes a total of 6 tracks, including 3 new songs related to “1 (일)”, 1&Only, 1 of LOV, and BIZNESS, which means “일” in Korean, in which producer member “Umuti” participated in writing the lyrics for all the songs.

The title track “1&Only” is an Afro beat/Afro pop song with a combination of rich pad synths, soft bass, and rhythmic vocals. The lyrics boldly convey XLOV’s warm yet confident messages to fans and listeners, such as “Let’s move with our instincts,” “Don’t suppress our burning desires, let’s burn them even more,” and “I am unique to you and you are unique to me, don’t hide it and show me everything you feel.”

And another track, “1 of LOV” is an emotional song that combines all these elements, including Afro beat, maybe piano, R&B elements, ambient synth, and powerful log drums, and is about “being a helping hand to those who are lost and wandering, and moving together towards their destination”.
“With XLOV, the secrets you and I have been hiding from each other will stir and be no longer hidden from the moment we meet.”
The rich emotion of the song was further enhanced by the addition of the lyrics, “No matter what happens in the future, I will not let go of your hand that I hold tightly.”

Lastly, the third track, “BIZNESS,” is a hip-hop song with a minimal yet powerful element that combines the strong elements of 808 bass and kitschy, energetic chant-style vocals. The lyrics are full of XLOV’s charming and confident messages to those who hate others, such as “Get out of here,” “I’ll gladly give you a seat to hold that skirt we want to wear,” and “Your wish list is just a tedious business to me.”

데뷔 싱글 [I'mma Be]에서 우리의 이야기는 이제 시작임을, 짙어져가 끝나지 않을 것임을 예고하며 한층 더 강렬해질 그 다음을 대중들에게 기대시킨 바 있다. 그 기대를 부응시킬 XLOV(엑스러브)의 두 번째 이야기 [I ONE]에서는 XLOV(엑스러브)를 비롯 전 세계에 있는 모든 존재들은 존재만으로도 '대체불가', '유일무이'한 존재라는 메시지와 더불어 각자가 가지고 있는 '각각의 아름다움 들은 항상 불타오르고 있음'을 담아내려 한다.

싱글 2집 [I ONE]에는 숨겨진 메시지들을 곳곳에서 찾아볼 수 있는데, 메인 메시지인 '나는 이 세상에 하나일 뿐이다'와 함께 ONE을 동음이의어인 원하다의 “Want”으로 변환시켜 '나는 원한다'로도 앨범을 표현할 수 있으며 I.O.N.E를 l.O.V.E로 표기하여 '사랑'이라는 뜻도 덧대어 담아낼 수도 있게, “wordplay” 같은 요소의 재미를 톡톡히 더해보려 했다.

“I ONE”에는 팀 내 프로듀서 멤버 “우무티”가 전곡 작사에 참여한 바, “1(일)” 과 관련된 3곡의 신곡 1&Only, 1 of LOV, 그리고 한국어로 “일”을 뜻하는 BIZNESS까지, 더 나아가 신곡들 각각의(inst) 트랙까지 담아내어 총 6곡이 수록되어 있다.

타이틀곡 “1&Only”는 풍성한 패드 신스와 부드러운 베이스, 리드미컬한 보컬이 어우러진 아프로 비트/아프로 팝의 곡으로 가사에는 팬들과 리스너들로 하여금 “본능 그대로 움직이자”, “불타오르는 욕망 억누르지 말고 더 불태우자”, “나는 너한테 그리고 너도 나한테 유일무이한 존재, 숨기지 말고 느낌 그대로의 모든 걸 나한테 보여달라”는 XLOV(엑스러브)만의 따듯하면서도 당찬 메시지를 거침없이 담아냈다.
