This album is a project that follows the previous work, *Love, That Longing 3*, and showcases the new charm of Korean-style jazz, 'K-POP JAZZ,' by reinterpreting 10 long-loved K-POP masterpieces with Woongsan's unique, deep jazz sensibility. It is characterized by a balance of familiarity and artistry, allowing not only jazz enthusiasts but also those encountering jazz for the first time to naturally relate to and enjoy it.

In particular, Takanori Suzuki, a clarinet virtuoso representing Japan, participated to add a sophisticated modern sensibility to the depth of vintage jazz, further enriching Woongsan's delicate musical world.

The double title tracks, "Does It Rain on the Day You Leave?" and "Gaeyeoul," represent the sentiment of this album by harmonizing the deep tone of the bass clarinet, Woongsan's restrained vocals, and the warm resonance of the piano and double bass, respectively. Along with this, the album contains a diverse repertoire including "If You Come Into Me," reinterpreted with a bossanova rhythm; "Love in a Dream," which highlights the charm of vintage jazz; the self-composed song "I Sing The Blues," newly arranged for the 2026 version; and the timeless masterpiece "Spring Days Are Gone."

Capturing retro analog sensibilities and sophisticated vintage cool jazz, this album utilized a one-take recording method with a minimal instrumentation to preserve the musicians' natural flow. The high-end sound, which delicately renders the texture and spatial depth of each individual instrument, is expected to deeply resonate not only with fans who have loved the *Love, That Longing* series but also with audio enthusiasts who appreciate analog sound.

이번 앨범은 전작 《사랑, 그 그리움 3》를 잇는 프로젝트로, 오랫동안 사랑받아온 K-POP 명곡 10곡을 웅산만의 깊이 있는 재즈 감성으로 재해석해 한국형 재즈 'K-POP JAZZ'의 새로운 매력을 선보인다. 재즈 애호가는 물론 처음 재즈를 접하는 이들도 자연스럽게 공감하고 즐길 수 있도록 친숙함과 예술성을 균형 있게 담아낸 것이 특징이다.

특히 일본을 대표하는 클라리넷 거장 스즈키 타카노리가 참여해 빈티지 재즈의 깊이에 세련된 모던 감각을 더하며, 웅산만의 섬세한 음악 세계를 더욱 풍성하게 완성했다.

더블 타이틀곡 〈그대 떠나는 날에 비가 오는가〉와 〈개여울〉은 각각 베이스 클라리넷의 깊은 음색과 웅산의 절제된 보컬, 따뜻한 피아노와 콘트라베이스의 울림이 어우러져 이번 앨범의 정서를 대표한다. 이와 함께 보사노바 리듬으로 재해석한 〈그대 내 안에 들어오면은〉, 빈티지 재즈의 매력이 돋보이는 〈꿈속의 사랑〉, 2026년 버전으로 새롭게 편곡한 자작곡 〈I Sing The Blues〉, 그리고 시대를 초월한 명곡 〈봄날은 간다〉 등 다채로운 레퍼토리를 담았다.

복고적인 아날로그 감성과 세련된 빈티지 쿨 재즈를 담아낸 이번 앨범은 최소한의 악기 편성과 연주자들의 호흡을 그대로 살리기 위해 원테이크(One-take) 녹음 방식을 선택했다. 악기 하나하나의 질감과 공간감까지 섬세하게 구현한 하이엔드 사운드는 《사랑, 그 그리움》 시리즈를 사랑해온 팬들은 물론, 아날로그 사운드를 추구하는 오디오 애호가들에게도 깊은 울림을 전할 것으로 기대된다
