2015년 8월 네이버TV캐스트를 통해 시트콤 전문 제작진과 신개념 장르인 웹트콤 "나는 걸그룹이다" 로 이색적인 데뷔를 하고 그 해 9월 첫 번째 미니앨범 ‘Unicorn Once upon a time’ 발매 후 10개월 만에 두 번째 미니앨범 “Unicorn Plus”로 돌아왔다.

첫 번째 미니앨범에서 펑키한 R&B 미디엄 댄스 곡으로 귀여운 이미지를 보여주었다면 이번 두 번째 미니 앨범 ‘Unicorn Plus”에서는 개성 넘치는 10인의 국내 아티스트들과의 콜라보레이션을 통해 좀 더 색다른 모습을 보여주려고 노력하였다. 다양한 장르에서 그들만의 특별한 기법으로 작품 활동을 활발히 하고 있는 아티스트들이 유니콘의 이미지를 어떻게 풀어냈는가를 보는 것 또한 이번 앨범의 색다른 즐거움이다.
