Stray Kids to release new mini album 'THIS & THAT' on August 7

Stray Kids announced the spectacular return of the 'Global Top Artist' with their new mini album 'THIS & THAT' on August 7.

The new release is Stray Kids' first album of 2026, coming approximately nine months after SKZ IT TAPE's 'DO IT'. The pre-released first track, 'RUN IT', features a world beat rhythm based on brass sounds and marching drums, encapsulating the immense energy of Stray Kids expanding into a bigger world as they solidify their unrivaled presence in the global music market. As proof of the fans' enthusiastic response, the song topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 43 overseas regions, including the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Spain, and the U.K., on the 24th, and also ranked at the top of YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide from the 24th to the 27th.

With 'THIS & THAT,' they topped the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the 'Billboard 200,' setting a remarkable record of having nine consecutive albums reach the number one spot upon chart entry. Stray Kids is the only artist in the world to have debuted at number one on the 'Billboard 200' and subsequently entered the chart at number one for nine consecutive weeks. This adds significance as it solidifies their title as the group with the most number one albums on the chart in the 21st century. On the other main chart, the 'Hot 100,' their title track 'This & That' entered at number 38, breaking their own highest ranking and demonstrating their stature as 'Global History Makers.'

Stray Kids has confirmed 'RUN IT' as the title of their new world tour, embodying their aspiration to transcend limits and move toward victory. Through ', they toured massive stadiums around the world and successfully completed their largest-ever world tour, 'Stray Kids World Tour,' consisting of 56 shows across 35 regions, in October 2025. They are continuing the momentum of '(Dominate). In particular, they got off to a strong start by holding a total of five performances at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and shone with their presence by becoming the first overseas male artist in history to perform solo at the Tokyo National Stadium on August 29-30.

In addition, following the 'The Governors Ball Music Festival,' New York's largest outdoor music festival, on June 6 (local time), they headlined the 'Rock in Rio' music festival in Brazil on September 11 and the new Stray Kids-led festival 'STRAYCITY,' held in three regions of Latin America in the same month, solidifying their status as the 'leading performance stock' in front of a total of 370,000 people in Latin America in September.

신보는 SKZ IT TAPE(스키즈 잇 테이프) 'DO IT'(두 잇) 이후 약 9개월 만의 앨범이자 스트레이 키즈의 2026년 첫 음반이다.
