원어스(ONEUS)는 RAVN(레이븐), 서호, 이도, 건희, 환웅, 시온으로 구성된 6인조 실력파 퍼포먼스 그룹으로 이전 US 시리즈 3부작 앨범들을 통해 신인답지 않은 독특하고 완성도 높은 무대를 보여주며 팬들에게 ‘무대천재’라는 수식어와 함께 탄탄한 실력을 입증했다. 또한 데뷔 1년만에 한국, 미국, 일본 등 총 9개 도시에서 단독 콘서트를 개최하며 전세계 폭발적인 반응을 이끌어내고 명실상부 차세대 한류돌로 자리매김하였다.

[IN ITS TIME]은 지난 US 시리즈 3부작 앨범의 주제였던 빛, 시간, 공간을 통해 완성된 원어스(ONEUS)의 색깔로 앞으로 어떤 이야기를 칠해갈지에 대한 새로운 시작을 담은 앨범으로 새로운 시작을 상징하는 꽃인 ‘프리지아’ 를 테마로 제작하였다.

봄, 탄생, 성장, 깨어남, 계절의 시작 등 만물이 아름다운 때를 만났음을 의미하는 “Everything is beautiful in its time” 이라는 문장을 앨범의 주제로 담았다. 3월, 그 어느 때보다 새로운 시작의 의미가 큰 때에 대중들에게 아름다운 시작과 성장을 응원하는 앨범이 될 것이다. “길을 잃었을 때, 잠깐 멈춰 뒤돌아보면 우리들의 발자국과 시간들이 분명히 알려줄 것이다. 우리는 이미 빛나고 있다고”

타이틀곡 ‘쉽게 쓰여진 노래 (A Song Written Easily)’는 국내 최고의 프로듀서들을 보유하고 있는 RBW 김도훈 사단의 히트메이커 이상호 작곡가의 곡으로 휘파람 테마(whistle theme)와 리드미컬한 바운스를 기반으로 한 곡이다. 이별에는 너무나 많은 감정들이 융합되어있다. 어느 한 단어로만 정의할 수 없는 그 수많은 감정을 가삿말로 표현했다. 처연하도록 슬프지만, 이별이 끝이 아님을, 새로운 시작임을 알리는 경쾌한 뭄바톤 리듬이 이중적인 하모니를 만들어낸다. 여러 갈래로 뻗어져 함께 공존하는 감정만큼 다채로운 구성에 캐치한 멜로디가 인상적이다.

‘쉽게 쓰여진 노래 (A Song Written Easily)’의 뮤직비디오는 광활하고 아름다운 대자연을 배경으로 뉴질랜드에서 촬영했으며, 원어스(ONEUS)와 항상 환상의 호흡을 맞춰오던 쟈니브로스 홍원기 감독이 메가폰을 잡아 힘을 더했다. 이번 뮤직비디오에서는 [IN ITS TIME]의 핵심 매개체인 ‘시작’을 상징하는 ‘꽃’을 통해 고난을 만나고 해소하는 과정을 표현하였으며, 감각적이고 압도적인 영상미로 대중들의 눈과 귀를 매료시킬 것이다.
