‘NU, Establish, Style, Tempo - 새로운 스타일을 음악에 맞춰 창조한다'는 뜻을 가진 뉴이스트(NU’EST)는 그 시작부터 범상치 않았다. 지난 2년의 시간 동안 1장의 싱글과 3장의 미니앨범을 발매 하며, 기존의 아이돌과는 차별화된 음악과 퍼포먼스 그리고 뉴이스트(NU’EST)만의 특별한 패션 스타일로 국내를 넘어 일본, 동남아, 남미에서 까지 의미 있는 기록들을 남겨 왔다. [Re:BIRTH]로 새로운 게임을 시작 한다. 그간 뉴이스트(NU’EST)의 색은 어느 하나로 고정되지 않은 투명에 가까웠다. 하지만 지금부터의 뉴이스트(NU’EST)는 다를 것이다. 10대의 대변인으로 시작해 10대의 감성과 에너지를 기반으로 일본, 중국, 남미까지 해외에서 이름을 알려온 뉴이스트(NU’EST)가 2014년을 기점으로 새롭게 태어난다. 그래서 그들의 첫 번째 정규 앨범은 [Re:BIRTH]이다. 2012년 데뷔 이후 뉴이스트는 독보적인 비주얼을 인정 받아 왔다. 특히 순정만화에서 나온 듯한 외모로 인해 최고의 미소년 그룹으로 손꼽혀 왔다. 이번 정규 앨범을 준비 하는 과정을 통해 미소년의 이미지를 간직했던 멤버들은 남자로 성장했다. 하지만 이들의 성장은 비단 외모의 성숙함에만 국한 되는 것이 아니었고 성장을 통해 남자가 되었다는 것에는 많은 의미가 포함 되어있다.
