Vocalist Moon (Hyewon), who is raising the profile of Korean jazz to the world, returns to listeners on June 23 with the release of her full-length album [Paper Wing].

Moon (Hyewon) made a spectacular debut as the first Korean artist to release her debut album [Kiss Me] through the world-renowned jazz label Verve. Since then, she has captivated the Japanese market with her overwhelming vocal talent and sophisticated sensibility, setting a remarkable record by winning the "First Gold Award" for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025 at Japan's prestigious Jazz Audio Disc Awards with [Midnight Sun] and [Fascination]. This new album, [Paper Wing], is the culmination of Moon (Hyewon)'s musical journey, built upon her consistent communication with fans through the release of digital singles. True to its title, the album is themed around a "voice of hope" for those weary of the world, capturing a diverse range of emotions—from the freshness of early summer to the solitude of the deep night—through a total of 10 tracks.

In particular, this album has elevated its musical quality through the collaboration of top-tier domestic and international artists. Leading musicians representing the Korean jazz scene, including pianist Shim Kyu-min, guitarist Kim Su-yu, bassist Jang Seung-ho, and drummer Shin Dong-jin, participated and perfectly harmonized with Moon (Hyewon)'s voice.

A special collaboration was added to this. For this recording, renowned Japanese sound engineer Hitani Shunroku specially visited Korea to participate in the overall production.
