2년 6개월만에 멜로망스가 온전한 자신들의 앨범 [초대]로 찾아왔다. 2019년 [축제]를 마지막으로 정식 앨범의 휴식기를 가졌던 그들이 들려주는 반가운 7번째 미니앨범이다.

이번 앨범엔 멜로망스가 가장 자신있게, 아름답게 표현할 수 있는 '사랑'에 대한 다양한 이야기들이 실려 있다. 특히 각 트랙마다 가사, 보컬의 표현과 편곡의 차별성 등 멜로망스의 섬세한 포인트들을 듣고 살펴보는 재미가 있는 앨범이다. 이제 시작된 사랑으로의 초대, 짝사랑의 설레는 시선, 행복함에 빠진 연인들의 상상, 아름다운 선율들이 어우러지는 연주곡과 위로의 단어들로 표현된 편지 같은 마지막 트랙까지.
