Description (Translated):

《The Moments》, the first full-length album by vocalist Lima, who has breathed with audiences on jazz club stages for 15 years and took charge of writing and composing all the songs, marking her debut as a singer-songwriter.
This album flows without any grandiose packaging, much like opening an honest diary. Having started singing at the late age of 32 and endured countless slumps and an unstable reality solely through music, the warmth contained in each track is extremely warm and solid. Although unintended, the destination the songs came together to form was ultimately **'courage and comfort'**.

《The Moments》 captures the various moments we encounter in life, ranging from the excitement of love to the process of comforting wounds and healing. In particular, eight poignant and lyrical original compositions are organically connected to touch the listener's heart, including **'Midnight Subway'**, which contains the small comfort offered to oneself and everyone else on the subway while returning home late at night after a performance. Pianist Moon Kyung-hwan's delicate arrangements, combined with the dense performances of an authentic jazz quartet and trombones, complete a sound that is both comfortable and profound.

Like a silent encouragement saying, “I did it, so you can certainly do it too,” I hope these songs become a warm remedy in your playlist that you can comfortably turn to and listen to anytime.



[Track Introduction]

1. Moonlight Dance
This is a romantic bossa nova song that depicts a beautiful spring night in May, dancing with a loved one under the starlight of the Eiffel Tower.

2. Good Night

"You worked hard today." It is a warm lullaby of comfort, just for you, that warmly embraces the end of a tiring day.

3. Gypsy song

It is a gypsy jazz-style song with charming guitar playing that will keep you on your mind all day long.

This song expresses my 20s as a wanderer who never let go of dreams and passion, even amidst anxiety and wandering.

4. A Confession(My moon)
This song captures a monologue at dawn, where the singer honestly confides unspoken regrets and secrets to the moon, receiving comfort and empathy.

5. Beautiful lies
First love of naive days.

This is a song that reflects on the wounds of a relationship that was believed to be love, and speaks of how, despite everything, it was still love to me.

6. Lean on me
This is a song I wrote after being deeply moved by a child shouting, "I want to grow up quickly!"

This is a song that captures a mother's love and hopes as she watches her rapidly growing child.

7. Midnight Subway
This is a song that captures the emotions I felt on the midnight subway on my way home after a performance, set to music.

This song offers quiet comfort and empathy to those heading home after a long day.

8. Mozzi Blues
In a way, I think this song is the closest to the style I show in my live performances.

This is a cheerful blues song that began with a lovely imagination of my dog Mochi, who still wants to play, playing the guitar and singing the blues on a night when the family is asleep.

15년간 재즈 클럽 무대에서 관객과 숨 쉬어 온 보컬리스트 리마(Lima)가 전곡 작사·작곡을 맡아 싱어송라이터로서 내딛는 첫 정규 앨범, 《The Moments》.
이번 앨범은 거창한 포장 없이, 마치 한 권의 솔직한 일기장을 펼쳐보이듯 흘러갑니다. 늦은 나이인 32세에 노래를 시작해 수많은 슬럼프와 불안정한 현실을 음악 하나로 버텨온 그녀이기에, 트랙마다 담긴 온도는 지극히 따스하고 단단합니다. 의도하지 않았으나 곡들이 모여 완성된 종착지는 결국 **'용기와 위로'**였습니다.

《The Moments》는 사랑의 설렘부터 상처를 보듬고 치유되는 과정까지, 우리가 삶에서 마주하는 다양한 순간들을 담고 있습니다. 특히 공연을 마치고 늦은 밤 귀가하는 지하철 안에서 자신을 비롯한 모두에게 건네던 작은 위로를 담은 **'Midnight Subway'**를 비롯해, 애틋하고 서정적인 8곡의 자작곡이 유기적으로 연결되어 청자의 마음을 두드립니다. 피아니스트 문경환의 섬세한 편곡과 정통 재즈 쿼텟·트롬본의 밀도 높은 연주가 더해져 편안하면서도 깊이 있는 사운드를 완성했습니다.

“나도 해 냈으니, 여러분도 충분히 해낼 수 있다”는 무언의 응원처럼, 이 노래들이 언제든 편안하게 찾아 듣는 당신의 플레이리스트 속 따뜻한 치유제가 되기를 바랍니다.

에펠탑의 별빛 아래, 사랑하는 사람과 함께 춤추는 5월의 아름다운 봄밤을 그려낸 로맨틱한 보사노바 곡입니다.

2. Good Night

"오늘도 고생 많으셨어요." 지친 하루의 끝을 포근하게 안아주는, 당신만을 위한 따뜻한 위로의 자장가입니다.

3. Gypsy song

매력적인 기타 연주가 종일 떠오르게 하는 집시재즈 스타일의 곡입니다.

불안과 방황 속에서도 꿈과 열정을 놓지 않는 방랑자였던 저의 20대를 표현한 곡이에요.

4. A Confession(My moon)
말하지 못한 후회와 비밀들을 달에게 솔직하게 털어놓으며 위로와 공감을 받는 새벽녘의 독백을 담은 곡입니다.

5. Beautiful lies
철없던 시절의 풋사랑.

그것을 사랑이라 믿었던 관계의 상처를 돌아보며, 그럼에도 그것 역시 나에게는 사랑이었음을 이야기하는 곡입니다.

6. Lean on me
"빨리 어른이 되고 싶어!" 하고 외치는 아이의 말이 마음에 꽂혀 쓰게 된 곡이에요.

빠르게 자라나는 아이를 바라보며 전하는 엄마의 사랑과 바람을 담은 노래입니다.

7. Midnight Subway
공연을 마치고 집으로 돌아가는 자정의 지하철에서 느끼던 감정들을 멜로디로 적어나간 곡입니다.

하루를 마치고 집으로 향하는 사람들에게 건네는 조용한 위로와 공감을 담은 곡입니다.

8. Mozzi blues
어찌보면 제가 라이브에서 보여드리는 가장 비슷한 모습의 곡 같아요.

가족들이 잠든 밤, 아직 놀고 싶은 저의 반려견 모찌가 기타를 치며 블루스를 부르는 사랑스러운 상상에서 시작된 유쾌한 블루스입니다.
