Next generation ballad prince ‘Lee Woo’s mini album ‘She’ [NEMO ALBUM]

'Lee Woo', who has received a lot of attention from many people by releasing numerous ballad hits such as 'Gongilgong', 'My regards', 'Parting ways', 'At the wedding hall', etc., is releasing a mini album.
This mini-album includes the title song 'I guess we took different paths', 'Because the stars are pretty' with acoustic sensibility, and 'Can you hear me', which is expressed solely with the sensibility of 'Lee Woo', with soft emotions. The author expresses his own sensibility in the formula of ballads where separation and love are synonymous with love, such as 'So that we can say goodbye' and 'Because Effort Doesn't Work', which is simple but sings about the pain of separation. Just as meeting and parting are inevitable in love, 'Lee Woo' is expressing the many emotions that can be felt in the process as a ballader. The second mini album 'she' has been released.
While working on this song, I think I prepared it as carefully as I did my last mini album. I also thought about the melody and lyrics, and what kind of content I should make so that it would be a song that fans would sympathize with and be loved by.
I feel like I meet a new friend every time I work on a song.
When I start working, it feels awkward and there are a lot of things I need to figure out, but as I write down the lyrics word by word... and hum the melody, I feel like I'm becoming closer to them little by little.
So, I think each song is precious and something to be thankful for. I don't know what good music is or what's right, but I'll try making music with the belief that if I keep doing it consistently, I'll get something out of it. Please listen to this album carefully :)
While preparing for this album, I am writing a small thank you to the people I am thankful for.
Gyu-heon Park, CEO of KH Company, where we started together! My brother! We've been together on good days and hard days, so please continue to treat us well. It's always a pleasure to work together :)
And I was grateful that Hyunwoo-hyung, Hyunseok-i, Hangyeol-i, and Youngmin, who worked with me on everything from the title of this album to the included songs, were able to work together musically.

1. I guess we were walking a different path (the different way)

‘I guess we were walking different paths’
We were always looking at the same place, and when the meeting that seemed like we would go together came to an end, if we looked back, we might have been walking different paths. Looking at the same things, feeling the same emotions, and being happy together may not have been the same in the end in the face of separation. This song sings about those feelings. Lee Woo's song was added to it, making it even sadder. The title song 'I guess we were walking different paths' was completed by writers Shin Hyun-woo and Kim Hyun-seok, who have been working together with Lee Woo for a long time.

'Because Effort Doesn't Work' is a song about the joys and sorrows of a man who feels pain because the reality is different from what he dreamed of, and regrets the new reality he faces after letting go of his loved one. Shin Hyun-woo and Kim Hyun-seok, who collaborated on the last mini-album songs 'At the Wedding Hall' and 'One Year Anniversary Day', and Shin Young-min, who collaborated with Lee Woo on 'Poetry of the Day', once again collaborated with Lee Woo.

차세대 발라더 왕자 '이우' 의 미니앨범 'She' [NEMO ALBUM]

'공일공'으로 시작해 '내 안부' '이별 행동' '결혼식장에서' 등등 수많은 발라드 히트곡을 내며 많은 사람들의 관심을 받는 '이우' 가 미니앨범을 발표한다.
이번 미니앨범은 타이틀곡 '우린 다른 길을 걸었나 봐' 를 비롯해 어쿠스틱한 감성을 느낄 수 있는 '별이 예뻐서' 와 오롯이 '이우'의 감성으로 풀어낸 'Can you hear me', 소프트한 감정으로 전하는 '안녕할 수 있게', 무던하지만 이별의 아픔을 노래하는 '노력으로 안되기에' 등 이별과 사랑은 이우로 통하는 발라드의 공식에서 본인만의 감성을 나타낸다. 만남과 이별은 사랑에 있어서 빠질 수 없는 것처럼, 그 과정에서 느낄 수 있는 많은 감정을 '이우'는 발라더로서 표현해 내고 있다. 감성뿐만 아니라 폭발적인 가창력을 비롯, 특히 이번 앨범의 많은 곡에 '이우' 본인이 작가로서 직접 참여하여 한 사람에게서 느낄 수 있는 여러 감정을 작가로서 담아내기도 했다. 본인만의 감성을 곡에 더해 더 성숙한 발라더가 된 이우의 미니앨범 'She'는 더없이 슬프고, 더없이 아련하며, 더없이 애절하다.

이번 곡을 작업하면서 저번 미니앨범만큼이나 신중하게 준비했던 것 같아요 멜로디, 가사 고민도 하고 어떤 내용으로 만들어야 팬분들이 공감해 주시고 사랑받는 곡이 될지 이런저런 고민들이요..
매번 곡 작업을 할 때 새로운 친구를 만나는 느낌을 받는 것 같아요
작업을 시작할 때는 어색하고 알아가야 할 것들이 많은데 가사를 한 글자 한 글자 적어가면서.. 멜로디를 흥얼대면서 조금씩 친해져가는 느낌을 받거든요

'우린 다른 길을 걷고 있었나 봐'
항상 같은 곳을 바라보고, 같이 갈 것만 같은 만남의 끝이 왔을 때 뒤돌아 보면 서로 다른 길을 걷고 있었는지도 모른다. 같은 것을 바라보고 같은 감정을 느끼며, 같이 행복했던 감정은 이별 앞에 선 결국 같은 것이 아니었을지도 모른다. 그런 감정을 노래 한 곡이다. 거기에 이우의 노래가 더해 져 더 슬퍼졌다. 타이틀 곡 '우린 다른 길을 걷고 있었나 봐'는 그동안 이우와 함께 오랫동안 합을 맞춰온 신현우, 김현석 작가가 함께 해 완성도를 더욱 높였다.
