The delicate night thickens the curtains, and the song of the lazy moon fills the silence. Two people leaning forward to the music that floats faintly and awkwardly take their first dance steps. The darkness rather illuminates our weakness, and your and my awkward footsteps have already begun a languid journey like a dream.

Moonlight embraces darkness, and sunlight pushes away darkness. As the season with you becomes more splendid, the darkness that embraced us gradually fades and flies away. I finally send you off to the crossroads, and with a bright face, I wave my hand and blankly stare at this unfamiliar road. And I walk. Sometimes with a staggering gait, drunk on memories.

On the streets where regrets wander like shadows, the smell of that night sometimes lingers. Today, memories that flew away from the top of that high tower with no end in sight are pouring down through the curtains of darkness. I gather up the fragments of memories that have fallen to the ground, wondering who will see them, and put them in my pocket.

Before I knew it, the accumulated memories flowed like a river. I finally made a small boat with your memories and set it afloat on that river. And I head toward that fork in the road that I should have returned to a long time ago. To that road that leads to you, to that night.

가녀린 밤이 짙게 밴 커튼, 게으른 달의 노래가 정적을 채운다. 나릿하게 부유하는 음악에 맞춰 몸을 기대고 서툴게 첫 춤의 발을 딛는 두 사람. 어둠은 우리의 연약함을 외려 밝히고, 당신과 나의 어설픈 발짓은 이미 꿈처럼 나른한 여정을 시작했다.

달빛은 어둠을 감싸안고 햇빛은 어둠을 밀어낸다. 당신과의 계절이 찬란할수록 우릴 끌어안던 어둠이 조금씩 아스러져 날아간다. 나는 기어이 갈랫길로 당신을 보내고 힘껏 밝은 얼굴로 손을 흔들며 이 낯설어진 길을 멍하니 본다. 그리고 걷는다. 때때로 기억에 취한 비틀 걸음으로.

아쉬움들이 그림자처럼 배회하는 거리 위, 때때로 그 밤의 냄새가 스친다. 오늘은 끝이 보이지도 않는 저 높은 탑 꼭대기에서 아스러져 날아갔던 추억들이 어둠의 커튼을 타고 쏟아져 내린다. 나는 누가 볼까 바닥에 떨어진 추억의 파편을 주섬주섬 주머니에 담는다.

어느새 쌓인 추억이 강처럼 불어 흐른다. 나는 비로소 당신의 기억을 기워 작은 배를 만들고 그 강에 띄운다. 그리고 어쩌면 오래전에 돌아갔어야 할 그 갈랫길로 향한다. 당신에게 이어지는 길로, 그 밤으로.
