돌이켜 생각해 보면 사랑이라는 이름 아래에서는 예뻤던 순간도, 아팠던 기억도, 평범한 일상의 모습들도 모두 아름다운 추억이 되는 듯하다. 이번 앨범은 가장 보편적이면서 동시에 가장 낭만적인 '사랑'이라는 주제를 온전히 김민석만의 고유한 정서와 색채로 담담히 써 내려간 여섯 편의 사랑 이야기다.
또한 이번 앨범은 타이틀곡 '영원을 약속해줘요'를 포함해 6곡 모두 그동안 차곡차곡 쌓아온 본인의 자작곡으로 꾸려졌다. 전곡 작사, 작곡을 포함해 편곡적 방향과 악기 구성까지 세심하게 신경 쓰며 보컬리스트뿐만 아니라 프로듀서로서의 역량까지도 고스란히 담아냈다.
