Kim Ho-joong is the title of his second classical album. has chosen It is an afterimage of love and friendship passing by like a kaleidoscope. The small amount of time he had to look back on himself during his military service, the decisive moment when he had to come forward in front of his fans again, and the image of 'panorama' to Kim Ho-joong, who has lived a more dramatic life than anyone else, is more meaningful than ever.
The concept of this album is Kim Ho-jung's greetings to lovers, friends, and fans who are in the middle of life. 'How are you? I'm fine too.' The question and answer are spread across the two albums like a 'panorama'. Although it is based on classical music, the music style contained in the album is also diverse and has a wide spectrum. Authentic vocal music with an Italian feel, a ballad-oriented crossover that even trot fans will enjoy, and a trot duet with Latin music suitable for summer, this album is rich and rare.
Just as everyone has memories of love and friendship, Kim Ho-joong's panorama also contains memories of empathy. It drives wildly and magnificently, but the solitude and sorrow felt in the abyss are not different from those of all of us. The album's title songs are 'Knight' and 'Promise'. 'Kumadeung' is a song that shares the same concept and pulse as the entire album, and Kim Ho-joong's soft and tender tone is impressive. It contains all the strengths of vocal music, trot, and pop, but it stands out in that it was completed as a song of its own that is colorless in any genre. The double title song 'Promise' was composed by pianist Yiruma. 종종 지나온 삶이 주마등처럼 스쳐 지날 때가 있다. 뒤돌아볼 여유가 생겼을 때, 그리고 결정적인 순간을 맞을 때 펼쳐지는 인생의 파노라마... 나의 과거가 하이라이트처럼 펼쳐지는 그 순간들은 삶의 변곡점이 되곤 한다.
김호중은 자신의 두 번째 클래식 앨범 타이틀로를 선택했다. 주마등처럼 스치는 사랑과 우정에 대한 잔상이다. 군 복무 기간 동안 스스로를 돌아볼 수 있었던 작은 여유, 다시 팬들 앞에 나서야 하는 결정적인 순간, 그리고 누구보다 드라마틱한 인생을 살아온 김호중에게 '파노라마'라는 심상은 그 누구의 어느 때보다 의미가 깊다.
이번 앨범의 컨셉은 인생의 주마등 속에 자리한 연인, 친구, 팬들에게 전하는 김호중의 안부 인사다. '잘 지내지? 나도 잘 있다.'라는 물음과 대답이 두 장의 앨범에 '파노라마'처럼 넓게 펼쳐져 있다. 클래식을 기본으로 하고 있지만 앨범에 담긴 음악 스타일 역시 다채롭고 스펙트럼이 넓다. 이탈리아 느낌 물씬 나는 정통 성악곡, 트로트 팬들도 부담 없이 좋아할 발라드 성향의 크로스오버, 트로트 듀엣에 여름에 어울리는 라틴음악까지 근래 보기 드문 풍성한 앨범이다.
사랑과 우정에 관한 추억이 누구에게나 존재하듯, 김호중의 파노라마에도 공감의 추억들이 담겼다. 거칠고 웅장하게 몰아치지만, 심연에서 느껴지는 고독과 애잔함은 우리 모두의 것과 다르지 않다. 김호중의 음악에 많은 이들이 열광하는 이유도 그러할 듯하다. 누구보다 극적이고 특별한 인생, 하지만 인생이 담긴 그의 목소리에는 대중의 삶을 보듬는 보편의 정서가 깔려 있다. 성악가로서 부족함 없는 성공을 거두었음에도 대중음악 씬에서 많은 이들과 함께 호흡할 수 있는 이유다.
'파노라마'라는 타이틀에 걸맞게 앨범 전체는 김호중 주연의 영화 한 편을 보는 듯 이어진다. 인트로 곡으로 자리한 연주곡 'En Aranjuez con tu amor'는 웅장하게 영화 같은 앨범의 시작을 알리는 데 기여한다.
앨범의 타이틀 곡은 '주마등'과 '약속'. '주마등'은 앨범 전체의 컨셉과 맥을 같이하는 곡으로 여리고 부드러운 김호중의 음색이 인상적이다. 성악, 트로트, 팝의 장점이 모두 담겨 있지만 장르가 무색한 그만의 곡으로 완성되었다는 점이 돋보인다. 더블 타이틀 곡 '약속'은 피아니스트 이루마가 작곡가로 참여했다. 이루마 특유의 섬세함과 서정미가 돋보이는 곡으로 김호중의 담백한 감성이 마음을 울린다.
최백호의 이름도 눈에 띈다. 듀엣곡 '노래해요'를 함께 한 최백호는 듀엣 제안을 흔쾌히 수락했고 선후배의 콜라보 느낌이 아닌 세대를 뛰어넘는 우정의 느낌으로 곡이 완성됐다. 듣는 사람도 부르는 사람도 즐겁고 공감하는 앨범을 만들고자 했던 이번 앨범의 기획 의도에 딱 부합하는 곡이다.
'친구' 역시 많은 이들의 사랑을 받을 만한 곡이다. '주마등'과 달리 특유의 중저음으로 크로스오버 가수의 매력을 한껏 담았다. 크로스오버 스타일의 '그리움의 계절'에서는 이지리스닝의 편안한 복고 스타일을 소화했다. 트로트의 애절한 창법을 가미해 폭발시킨 클라이맥스가 매력적이다. '가을꽃'은 김호중이 직접 선곡한 가곡으로 성악가로서의 면모가 돋보인다. 첼로 베이스에 다른 곡들보다 더 묵직한 감성을 얹어 깊은 곳으로 인도한다.
앨범 곳곳에 포진한 커버 곡들은 대중적이면서도 유니크하다. 뻔하지 않으면서도 편하게 들을 수 있는 선곡이다. 'Il Mare Calmo Della Sera', 'Champagne', 'Brucia La Terra', 'Adoro' 등에서는 감성을 폭발시키며, 오페라 넘버 'Tiritomba', 라틴 넘버 'Oye Como Va'에서는 흥을 폭발시킨다. 재즈 성향의 'Love in Portofino'에서는 넘실거리는 분위기에 취할 수 있으며, 'O Tannenbaum'은 경건하고 순수하다.
피아노와 하모니카로 완성된 아웃트로 곡 '나비' 음원은 김호중의 곡 설명이 함께 전달됐다. “작은 애벌레는 꿈을 꾼다. 시련과 고통의 긴 겨울을 지나, 나비로 날아오른다. 그리고 드넓은 세상에 노래한다. 전반부의 쓸쓸한 피아노와 하모니카 연주는 시련의 시간을 나타내며, 결국 아름다운 허밍과 함께, 나비로 날아오른다.”

Kim Ho-joong is the title of his second classical album.
The concept of this album is Kim Ho-jung's greetings to lovers, friends, and fans who are in the middle of life. 'How are you? I'm fine too.' The question and answer are spread across the two albums like a 'panorama'. Although it is based on classical music, the music style contained in the album is also diverse and has a wide spectrum. Authentic vocal music with an Italian feel, a ballad-oriented crossover that even trot fans will enjoy, and a trot duet with Latin music suitable for summer, this album is rich and rare.
Just as everyone has memories of love and friendship, Kim Ho-joong's panorama also contains memories of empathy. It drives wildly and magnificently, but the solitude and sorrow felt in the abyss are not different from those of all of us. That seems to be the reason why many people are enthusiastic about Kim Ho-joong's music. His life is more dramatic and special than anyone else's, but his voice full of life has a universal sentiment that embraces the lives of the public. This is the reason why he can breathe with many people in the popular music scene even though he has achieved sufficient success as a vocalist.
Befitting the title 'Panorama', the entire album continues as if watching a movie starring Kim Ho-joong. The instrumental song 'En Aranjuez con tu amor', positioned as an intro song, contributes to announcing the grand opening of the album like a movie.
The album's title songs are 'Knight' and 'Promise'. 'Kumadeung' is a song that shares the same concept and pulse as the entire album, and Kim Ho-joong's soft and tender tone is impressive. It contains all the strengths of vocal music, trot, and pop, but it stands out in that it was completed as a song of its own that is colorless in any genre. The double title song 'Promise' was composed by pianist Yiruma. It is a song that stands out with Yiruma's unique delicacy and lyrical beauty, and Kim Ho-joong's plain sensibility resonates with the heart.
Choi Baek-ho's name also stands out. Choi Baek-ho, who co-wrote the duet song 'Let's Sing', readily accepted the duet proposal, and the song was completed with a feeling of friendship that transcends generations, not a collaboration between seniors and juniors. 김호중은 자신의 두 번째 클래식 앨범 타이틀로
이번 앨범의 컨셉은 인생의 주마등 속에 자리한 연인, 친구, 팬들에게 전하는 김호중의 안부 인사다. '잘 지내지? 나도 잘 있다.'라는 물음과 대답이 두 장의 앨범에 '파노라마'처럼 넓게 펼쳐져 있다. 클래식을 기본으로 하고 있지만 앨범에 담긴 음악 스타일 역시 다채롭고 스펙트럼이 넓다. 이탈리아 느낌 물씬 나는 정통 성악곡, 트로트 팬들도 부담 없이 좋아할 발라드 성향의 크로스오버, 트로트 듀엣에 여름에 어울리는 라틴음악까지 근래 보기 드문 풍성한 앨범이다.
사랑과 우정에 관한 추억이 누구에게나 존재하듯, 김호중의 파노라마에도 공감의 추억들이 담겼다. 거칠고 웅장하게 몰아치지만, 심연에서 느껴지는 고독과 애잔함은 우리 모두의 것과 다르지 않다. 김호중의 음악에 많은 이들이 열광하는 이유도 그러할 듯하다. 누구보다 극적이고 특별한 인생, 하지만 인생이 담긴 그의 목소리에는 대중의 삶을 보듬는 보편의 정서가 깔려 있다. 성악가로서 부족함 없는 성공을 거두었음에도 대중음악 씬에서 많은 이들과 함께 호흡할 수 있는 이유다.
'파노라마'라는 타이틀에 걸맞게 앨범 전체는 김호중 주연의 영화 한 편을 보는 듯 이어진다. 인트로 곡으로 자리한 연주곡 'En Aranjuez con tu amor'는 웅장하게 영화 같은 앨범의 시작을 알리는 데 기여한다.
앨범의 타이틀 곡은 '주마등'과 '약속'. '주마등'은 앨범 전체의 컨셉과 맥을 같이하는 곡으로 여리고 부드러운 김호중의 음색이 인상적이다. 성악, 트로트, 팝의 장점이 모두 담겨 있지만 장르가 무색한 그만의 곡으로 완성되었다는 점이 돋보인다. 더블 타이틀 곡 '약속'은 피아니스트 이루마가 작곡가로 참여했다. 이루마 특유의 섬세함과 서정미가 돋보이는 곡으로 김호중의 담백한 감성이 마음을 울린다.
최백호의 이름도 눈에 띈다. 듀엣곡 '노래해요'를 함께 한 최백호는 듀엣 제안을 흔쾌히 수락했고 선후배의 콜라보 느낌이 아닌 세대를 뛰어넘는 우정의 느낌으로 곡이 완성됐다. 듣는 사람도 부르는 사람도 즐겁고 공감하는 앨범을 만들고자 했던 이번 앨범의 기획 의도에 딱 부합하는 곡이다.
'친구' 역시 많은 이들의 사랑을 받을 만한 곡이다. '주마등'과 달리 특유의 중저음으로 크로스오버 가수의 매력을 한껏 담았다. 크로스오버 스타일의 '그리움의 계절'에서는 이지리스닝의 편안한 복고 스타일을 소화했다. 트로트의 애절한 창법을 가미해 폭발시킨 클라이맥스가 매력적이다. '가을꽃'은 김호중이 직접 선곡한 가곡으로 성악가로서의 면모가 돋보인다. 첼로 베이스에 다른 곡들보다 더 묵직한 감성을 얹어 깊은 곳으로 인도한다.
