Description
Iconic city pop artist Kim A-reum will be releasing her first full-length album, 'RETRO WAVE', on LP after 1 year and 5 months.
'Retro Wave' is the final work of the 'Wave' series, and many of the country's top artists participated in it over a long period of time. The number of tracks was adjusted to achieve the sound quality most suitable for LP.
The title song 'Aliens' was composed and produced by 'musicians' musician' Yoon Sang, and the lyrics were written by Kim Eana. As it is a rare piece released in the winter among Kim Areum's albums, it is a disco genre song that maximizes the cold season. On top of Yoon Sang's signature sound and melody, the lyrics of lyricist Kim Eana, who expresses the feeling of suddenly losing communication and becoming a stranger one day, added to the density of the song. Space Cowboy, Jade, and CROQ, who have been working with Yoon Sang for a long time musically, participated, and the arrangement was done by Space Cowboy and Jade.
Musically, it is full of unique attempts, such as electronic approaches based on Kim A-reum's unique city pop sound. It will provide winter listeners with an immersive experience in a unique space and time that only music can unfold.
