Kiki returns with the EP [WhyKiiiKiii]. Within the hottest, strangest, and most delightful summer, Kiki once again rewrites the atmosphere of the season with their own unique sensibility.

- Why Kiki? This time, it's proven by summer.
This album unravels the question "Why Kiki?" in the most Kiki-esque way. Rather than explaining it head-on, it draws in moments of summer and weaves them into a single sensual course.

Therefore, the summer presented in [WhyKiiiKiii] differs from the familiar refreshing vibes or clichéd resort images. Kiki chooses a more quirky and multi-dimensional path. The unfamiliar morning air, the midday heat, events that suddenly intrude like a sudden shower, dancing under the sunset, nights when you don't want to go home, and the lingering afterglow that extends until dawn. This album weaves these time-based emotions and landscapes into a single long flow. It is even more impressive in that it does not merely capture summer, but rearranges it in Kiki's own unique way.

From morning until dawn, summer flows by scene by scene.
The fun of this album lies in the fact that the track composition captures the 24 hours of a summer day. From early morning to deep dawn, each song takes on the expression of a different time, connecting the entire album into a single flow.

Thanks to this, [WhyKiiiKiii] sounds less like an album of songs listed and more like an album with a living, continuous flow. As the listener follows the tracks, they simultaneously pass through the seasonal timetable. In this process, Kiki does not portray summer merely as a pretty picture. She reveals emotions that are excited, cheerful, slightly impulsive, and deepen as night falls. That is what makes this album even more Kiki-esque.

- The moment the midday temperature rises, 'Pop Off Pop Off'
The title track, 'Pop Off Pop Off,' is the song that most clearly anchors the center of this album. Intense synth sounds, a catchy beat, and a memorable chorus create an energy that explodes instantly, just as the title suggests. In terms of naturally picturing a dazzling stage, this song most intuitively showcases the current Kiki.

The important thing is that this song doesn't just end with a strong impression. 'Pop Off Pop Off' delivers Kiki's signature playfulness and flair, the confidence derived from her performance, and the excited atmosphere of the heart of summer all at once. As such, this track functions as the midday and peak time of this album. True to the album title [WhyKiiiKiii], it is the track that most quickly convinces you why it has to be Kiki this summer.

- Even if it spreads into different colors, it is ultimately one Kiki
The tracks also have distinct roles. 'Ever2Late!' is a house dance-pop song that captures the excitement and movement of a morning, setting the mood of the album, while 'Hey Hi' naturally brings out Kiki's signature bright energy with its light and pleasant vibe. 'SWEET SOUR,' true to its title, blends sweet and sour emotions into a sophisticated electronic pop sound, giving the album a fresh twist.
Here, 'Candy Pink Magic Hole Flip Phone (What Should I Do)' maximizes kitschy imagination and a hyper-pop sensibility, boldly pushing Kiki's eccentricity, while 'Blue Hour' sustains the lingering resonance at the end of the day with dreamy synths and a heavy bassline. Although the colors of each song are distinct, listening to the whole ultimately converges into a single team color. The strength of this album lies in the fact that it maintains its center while shifting between various tones.

Even familiar seasons take on a new mood once Kiki passes.
Another strength of this album lies in the fact that the concept does not remain merely a simple device. Under the setting of the 'WhyKiiiKiii TOUR,' the virtual island, tour course, time-based movement, and theme park-like structure make the album's cheerful world even more vivid.

However, all these elements ultimately point in one direction. Instead of simply reproducing an ordinary summer, Kiki re-edits and rearranges it using their own unique language. Thus, in this album, rather than being a team that follows the season, Kiki redefines the season with their own distinct colors. They draw in the heat and festive spirit of summer, the playfulness and liberation, and even the textures of emotions that grow deeper as the night deepens. As a result, [WhyKiiiKiii] transcends a simple seasonal album and becomes an album that allows the listener to experience the team Kiki's sensibility in a multi-dimensional way.

- From a team that drew attention to a team that moves the board
Kiki was not a team that emerged in a familiar way from the start. From their pre-debut, they immediately captured attention with unconventional promotions and a distinct sensibility, and with their first mini-album [UNCUT GEM], they put their raw charm and unique identity front and center. Subsequently, with their second mini-album [Delulu Pack], they pushed their free imagination and the team's individuality with a more refined texture, clearly demonstrating what Kiki's own unique flow is.

Having passed through that time, the current Kiki can no longer be described merely as a "fresh team." They are a group that has steadily proven itself beyond the buzz surrounding their early debut, demonstrating their dominance on the charts, on stage, and through the expansion of their fandom. The achievements shown with "404 (New Era)" and the subsequent fan concerts demonstrated that Kiki's sensibility does not remain merely a fleeting impression. This EP, [WhyKiiiKiii], is the next chapter of Kiki's journey. It is an album that most clearly shows how far Kiki has come and where they intend to extend in the future.

- What remains at the end of this summer is anticipation for the next Kiki.
This album does not merely stop at summarizing the charms Kiki has already demonstrated. By layering individuality, freedom, wit, and sensibility upon a greater sense of seasonality and clearer rhythms, it expands the team's scale to the next level. If the freshness of their early debut was Kiki's starting point, [WhyKiiiKiii] is an album that shows just how long and how far that freshness can go.

Therefore, this album explains the current Kiki while simultaneously making us even more curious about the future. A team capable of advancing toward a broader mood and a grander narrative without losing their own unique color, a team that can fully transform an entire season into their own language. [WhyKiiiKiii] will clearly demonstrate that Kiki stands upon such potential. And at that very point, this album will become an impressive record that makes us look forward to Kiki's next steps even more.

Pop Off Pop Off'

'Pop Off Pop Off'는 키키 특유의 장난기와 감각, 퍼포먼스에서 오는 확신, 그리고 여름 한복판의 들뜬 공기를 한꺼번에 밀어붙인다.
