MODM : Original Saga신규 캐릭터 소모즈 (Somozu)의 좌충우돌 하이 스코어를 깨기 위한 여정. 그는 과연 모든 경쟁자들을 물리치고 마지막 시험인 고대 병기의 시험까지 통과할 수 있을까?
나는 가로사옥을 만들면서부터 이후에 뭔가 환기가 될 수 있는 작업이 무엇이 있을까 고민을 하다가 오락용 음악을 만들고 싶다는 생각을 했다. 가로사옥 때 의도적으로 내용을 전달하기 위해서 기술적인 부분의 리미터를 걸어 놨다면 이번에는 최대한 자극의 끝까지 만져보는 건 어떨까. 모든 에너지를 집중해서 담아보다 하다 보니 앨범 이름이 모듬이 되었다. 더 고민하다 보니 랩 다운 랩, 근사하고 삐까번쩍한 사운드, 입체적인 캐릭터들, 이런 게 구성이 된 것 같고 그 작업은 처음에 랩을 좋아하고 가슴이 뜨거워진 이유와 같다.
이야기를 내 얘기로 받아들이든 소모즈의 이야기로 받아들이든 그건 자유이다. Press Start n Play!
