특히, 이번 앨범 < Stardust >에서는 그동안 케빈오가 추구해온 포크록 기반의 음악 스타일을 좀 더 다양한 모습으로 표현하기 위해 음악으로 친분을 쌓아 온 프로듀서 프라이머리와 함께 작업하며 서로 다른 음악적 색채를 한데 아울러 새로운 스타일의 음악을 표현할 수 있었다고 한다.
이를 위해 케빈오는 처음으로 싱어송라이터에 대한 꿈을 키울 수 있었던 공간인 뉴욕에 있는 자신의 집으로 프라이머리를 초대하여 자유로운 분위기 속에서 스튜디오와 집을 함께 오가며 작업하였다.
