슈퍼스타K7 출연과 우승을 통해 얻게 된 싱어송라이터라는 또 다른 정체성의 확립.

새롭게 자신의 위치를 확인하고 그 꿈을 이루기 위해 달려온 케빈 오와 프라이머리가 함께한 첫 데뷔 EP < Stardust >가 출시 되었다.

특히, 이번 앨범 < Stardust >에서는 그동안 케빈오가 추구해온 포크록 기반의 음악 스타일을 좀 더 다양한 모습으로 표현하기 위해 음악으로 친분을 쌓아 온 프로듀서 프라이머리와 함께 작업하며 서로 다른 음악적 색채를 한데 아울러 새로운 스타일의 음악을 표현할 수 있었다고 한다.

이를 위해 케빈오는 처음으로 싱어송라이터에 대한 꿈을 키울 수 있었던 공간인 뉴욕에 있는 자신의 집으로 프라이머리를 초대하여 자유로운 분위기 속에서 스튜디오와 집을 함께 오가며 작업하였다.

또한, 이번 앨범 커버와 전체 사진 촬영은 케빈오의 동생 사만다가 함께 참여하여 소중한 의미를 더해 주었다.

이처럼, 케빈오는 과거와 현재를 지나오며 오늘의 본인을 이루게 한 주위의 모든 음악적 아이디어를 놓치지 않고 < Stardust >에 담아내고자 하였다.
