The band Jaurim announces a comeback with the mini album [HOLA!] two years after the 10th album [Jaurim] released in 2018.

At the beginning of the album work, he wrote rather heavy and serious songs, but while watching the corona pandemic, everyone changed their direction to music that can help people in difficult situations and completed the album.

Jaurim speaks of hope, giving courage and comfort through music in this situation where he is living in an anxious and difficult time every day. The title song 'HOLA!' is a hymn to those of us who are living in our own place in this era, and 'Morning Waltz' sings the hope that a good morning will come after this night full of sadness. 밴드 자우림이 지난 2018년 발매한 10집 [자우림] 이후 2년 만에 미니앨범 [HOLA!]으로 컴백을 알린다.

앨범 작업 초반에는 다소 무겁고 진지한 곡들을 써 내려가다 코로나가 전 세계적으로 유행하는 것을 보면서 모두가 힘든 상황에서 사람들에게 힘이 되어줄 수 있는 음악으로 방향을 바꾸며 앨범을 완성했다고.

자우림은 매일이 불안하고 힘든 시대를 살아가고 있는 이 상황에서 음악으로 용기와 위안을 건네며 희망을 얘기하고 있다. 타이틀곡 'HOLA!'는 이 시대에 각자의 자리에서 살아내고 있다는 것만으로도 장한 우리에게 선사하는 찬가이며, '모닝 왈츠'는 슬픔이 가득한 이 밤이 지나면 좋은 아침이 올 것이라는 희망을 노래한다. 살아가는 데 있어 필연적인 실패가 우리에게 남긴 것을 생각해보게 하는 '우리들의 실패'까지 이어지는 곡들은 듣는 이로 하여금 때로는 밝고 긍정적인 기운을 또 때로는 매일이 버거운 오늘을 차분하게 지낼 수 있는 힘을 준다.

01. HOLA! (작사, 작곡 김윤아)
올해 초까지 작업하고 있던 자우림 신곡들은
모두 다 매우 어두운 정서의 곡들이었습니다.
그러나 코로나가 세계적으로 유행하기 시작하면서
이렇게 어두운 음악을 지금 발표하는 것이
좋은 일인가 고민하게 되었고 작업의 방향을
크게 전환해서 나온 결과물이 HOLA!입니다.

이런 시대에 노래가 지친 사람들의 등을 토닥이고
매일의 일상에서 즐거움을 찾을 수 있게 하는
계기가 된다면 그것이 대중음악 최고의
순기능일 거라고 생각합니다.

HOLA! 의 메시지는 단순합니다.
바로 지금 각자 서 있는 곳에서
서로 서로 의지하며 어려움을 털어내자는 것,
그리고 자신의 강함을 믿고
오늘 살아 있음을 향유하자는 것입니다.

과거를 후회하거나 미래를 염려하기보다
오늘 존재함을 축하하는 찬가입니다.

어둡고 끝날것 같지 않을 긴 밤도 결국은 지난밤으로 추억될 것입니다. 다 잘 될거라고 믿으며 맞이하는 아침으로, 다시 다가올 긴 밤의 어둠에 용기내고 싶습니다.
