At 6 PM on January 8, 2018, the beginning of a new beginning for 6-member INFINITE will be held.
Infinite (Kim Sung-kyu, Jang Dong-woo, Nam Woo-hyun, Lee Seong-yeol, L, Lee Seong-jong) will be making their first appearance in the martial arts year with their new album 'TOP SEED'. This album is Infinite's first new album after 1 year and 4 months, and their 3rd full album after 3 years and 8 months since their 2nd regular album 'Season 2' in May 2014.
Starting with the intro song 'Begin' and ending with 'Begin Again', this album contains a total of 12 songs. R&B urban, metal rock, pop ballad, classic with waltz, various genres are melted here and there, boasting a richer sound. In addition, the solo songs that stand out with the sweet voice of Dongwoo, L, and Sungjong, who directly participated in writing lyrics, composing, and rap-making, further enhanced the collection value. In particular, the title song 'Tell Me' maintains Infinite's unique sensibility, but adds a dreamy and sophisticated feeling with minimal sound and restrained vocals. The more relaxed and mature performance is also more noteworthy.
In the outro track 'Begin Again', Infinite members added sincerity by containing the messages they really wanted to convey to those who cried and laughed together and gave them strength for a long time. 2018년 1월 8일 오후 6시, 6인조 인피니트(INFINITE) 새로운 시작의 서막이 열린다.
인피니트(김성규, 장동우, 남우현, 이성열, 엘, 이성종)가 새 앨범 ‘TOP SEED’를 들고 무술년 첫 출격한다. 이번 앨범은 인피니트가 1년 4개월 만에 발표하는 신보이자, 2014년 5월 정규 2집 ‘Season 2’ 이후 3년 8개월 만에 선보이는 3번째 정규 앨범이다.
인트로곡 'Begin'으로 시작해 'Begin Again'로 끝나는 이번 앨범은 총 12곡이 수록돼 있다. R&B 어반, 메탈 록, 팝발라드에 왈츠가 가미된 클래식까지 다양한 장르를 곳곳에 녹여내며 더욱 풍성한 사운드를 자랑한다. 여기에 직접 작사, 작곡, 랩메이킹에 참여하며 한껏 역량을 드러낸 동우와 엘과 성종의 감미로운 음색이 돋보이는 솔로곡들로 더욱 소장 가치를 높였다. 특히 타이틀 곡 ‘Tell Me’는 인피니트 특유의 감성은 유지하되 미니멀한 사운드와 절제된 보컬로 몽환적이며 세련된 느낌이 더해져 기존의 인피니트와 같은 듯 하면서 완전히 다른 새로운 느낌의 곡이다. 한층 여유로워지고 성숙해진 퍼포먼스 또한 더욱 주목할만하다.
