Rookie artist Joo Hye-rin releases her first LP, [Re-Make].
An album that reinterprets the musical spectrum of the past through bandset performances.
Singer-songwriter Joo Hye-rin has been nominated for both "Best R&B & Soul Song" and "New Artist of the Year" at the 2025 Korean Music Awards, garnering recognition for both her musical prowess and her potential as a rising star. Her nominated EP, "COOL," captivated the music scene with its refined sound, unique lyrics, uncluttered vocals, and refreshing cover artwork.
The album [Re-Make] is a newly rearranged album that collects and arranges previously released EPs and singles. Through collaboration with colleagues with whom she has consistently worked, the album captures a different sensibility from the original. The first song, "Hallway Apartment (501)", gradually builds up the bandset sound and raises the anticipation for the album. "Are You Crazy?", which contains the excitement of going to meet a lover, reinterprets the fast-tempo bossa nova with a light swing feel, creating a refreshing atmosphere. Joo Hye-rin, who aims to establish herself as a "friend-like artist" who can be comfortably recalled in everyday life, perfectly portrays her musical direction with the voices of her colleagues in [Re-Make].
