Global hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS has reunited once again with a new compilation album, [PINK TAPE], about five months after the release of their compilation album [PURPLE TAPE] last April.
This album captures a more diverse and expanded musical color palette, featuring pH-1, lIlBOI, Woodie Gochild, and BIG Naughty (Seo Dong-hyun), who collaborated on [PURPLE TAPE], as well as Lee Seo-yeon (Y:SY) and Sim Aaron from H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS. Artists with distinct personalities and styles naturally cross over their respective domains, creating new combinations and synergy under the name H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS.
Composed of a total of six tracks, the EP [PINK TAPE] focuses on a lighter and more mainstream sound compared to [PURPLE TAPE]. Much like how deep purple is diluted with water to become soft and refreshing pink, the album is filled with music that is more comfortable and approachable to enjoy, while continuing the colors and texture of the previous work. Each track clearly highlights the individuality of the artists, while once again demonstrating the musical spectrum of H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS through various genre combinations.
The H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS compilation series, which began with [RED TAPE] and [BLUE TAPE] in 2020, continues with [PURPLE TAPE] and [PINK TAPE] in 2026, completing a new chapter. Each 'TAPE' fully captures the music and relationships of the artists comprising H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS during that period, as well as the direction the label is pursuing.
As a result, [PINK TAPE] transcends a mere compilation featuring multiple artists, culminating in an album that captures the process of their colors blending and spreading into a new hue. Building upon H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS’ unique compilation tradition dating back to 2020, the album adds contemporary musical colors, showcasing the strengthened solidarity among the artists and the label’s trajectory.

글로벌 힙합 레이블 H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS가 지난 4월 발매한 컴필레이션 앨범 [PURPLE TAPE] 이후 약 5개월 만에 새로운 컴필레이션 [PINK TAPE]으로 다시 한번 뭉쳤다.
이번 앨범에는 [PURPLE TAPE]에 함께한 pH-1, 릴보이 (lIlBOI), Woodie Gochild, BIG Naughty (서동현)를 비롯해 H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS의 이서연 (Y:SY)과 심아론까지 합류하며 한층 다채롭고 확장된 음악적 색채를 담아냈다. 서로 다른 개성과 스타일을 지닌 아티스트들은 각자의 영역을 자연스럽게 넘나들며, H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS라는 이름 아래 새로운 조합과 시너지를 만들어낸다.
총 6곡으로 구성된 EP [PINK TAPE]은 [PURPLE TAPE]보다 한층 가볍고 대중적인 사운드에 초점을 맞춘 앨범이다. 짙은 PURPLE에 물을 섞어 부드럽고 산뜻해진 PINK처럼, 전작의 색채와 결을 이어가면서도 보다 편안하고 친근하게 즐길 수 있는 음악들로 채웠다. 각 트랙마다 아티스트들의 개성을 선명하게 살리는 동시에, 다양한 장르와 조합을 통해 H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS가 가진 음악적 스펙트럼을 다시 한번 보여준다.
