What an outstanding work

This is only a Forestella single, but this song is a masterpiece, produced by Valensia and Forestella itself. This song evoques someplace, somewhere near my home. As a single the album is more than good with its own booklet and priceless photo cards. Came so well packed and arrived just in time. Definitely a must for die hard Soopbyeol

FORESTELLA - [THE BLOOM : UTOPIA (The Borders of Utopia)] 1st Single Album

It is a fascinating theme in itself, ‘Bloom, border of Utopia

It is a Rock-opera piece very much influenced by Queen on purpose as the Forestella asked the composer for such inspiration. The recorded song is a rhythmic gem served by four hyper talented singers with high potential in each vocal range. I am amazed that they can actually sing that verse in turns : ‘Don’t let temptation bring you down’on that infernal tempo it is very disquieting. Lyrics can be read as a poem, and after some hope with higher notes for the tenor ‘’I’m dreaming of ad-meliora’ I really enjoy the last scores where the orchestra seems the breathe again on more peaceful theme on four notes or so. It is not the end of this journey I am waiting for the composer ‘s suite . This is only the ‘border’ of Utopia. I will not let the visuals interfere. I am giving you my feelings as a cd listener.Valensia is a modern composer and the sound quality is superlative here blending all the colours of orchestra, the four voices and the technicalities. The higher range voices are dominant , especially Sopranist Kang Hyung Ho and tenor Cho Mongyu. As often Bass Ko Woorim keeps the beat and deepest range wery present in chorus with light baritone Bae Doohoon.
It is not a ‘caching’ tune apart fot the Utopia on three ascending notes ? But the effectis overwhelming! As a dufficult score with not so easy music for fout singers whoelse will make a ‘cover’ of this opus?
All my admiration to the Forestella indeed that made these scores and lyrics live,!This ‘Utopian journey is already unforgettable !
