The original soundtrack for the film <Piran> released on LP.
The original soundtrack (OST) for the 2001 film "Failan" (directed by Song Hae-seong/starring Choi Min-sik and Jang Baek-ji), which left a deep impression on many, is being released for the first time on analog LP. Still remembered as a classic of its time, "Failan" features Choi Min-sik and Jang Baek-ji's poignant performances of love and longing, complemented by music director Lee Jae-jin's lyrical score, leaving a lasting impression.
This LP revisits the music of "Failan" with the warm texture characteristic of analog, vividly reviving the film's emotions and memories. The insert song "Aejeong" is included not only as a version by Mak Mun-wi but also as sung by Jang Baek-ji in the film, further deepening the emotional arc of the film and enhancing the unique collection value of the "Failan" OST LP.
This limited edition LP, consisting of a 1LP with a total of 21 tracks and a gatefold jacket, is composed of various inserts such as a lyric booklet, posters, photo cards, and a letter set, which materialize the film's emotions. Notably, the booklet includes a memoir written by director Song Hae-seong and music director Lee Jae-jin to commemorate the LP release, delivering an in-depth story about the work and music, adding meaning and specialness to this LP release.
<Pyran> original soundtrack LP was planned and produced by Wireless (LP production company), remastered and vinyl cut at Abbey Road Studios in the UK, and produced in Germany. 2001년 개봉해 많은 이들의 가슴에 깊은 여운을 남긴 영화 <파이란>(감독 송해성/주연 최민식, 장백지)의 오리지널 사운드트랙(OST)이 아날로그 LP로 처음 발매된다. 세월이 흐른 지금도 시대의 명작으로 회자되는 <파이란>은 최민식과 장백지의 안타까운 사랑과 그리움을 담은 연기와 함께 이재진 음악감독의 서정적인 음악이 더해져 긴 여운을 남긴 작품이다.
