The fifth mini-album [WE] emphasizes us rather than individuals.
We prepared many songs as an extension of the solo songs shown in [FULL MOON] released in November 2017, but for the message we wanted to convey through the theme of us, we boldly gave up and planned a harmony of group songs.
This album, which has a clear difference from previous works, contains a new attempt by boldly breaking away from EXID's unique music composition.
The flow of the song, which was composed based on an appealing voice, became more sophisticated through DROP, and EXID's own music was completed with lyrics with a strong tone.
In addition to the title song, which seeks new attempts and changes, the songs included in the album, including the fan song 'WE ARE..', which was stopped due to the members shedding tears several times during recording, are trendy but contain EXID's unique charm and create a unique atmosphere.

다섯 번째 발매하는 미니앨범 [WE] 는 개인 보다는 우리를 강조하고 있다.
2017년 11월 발매한 [FULL MOON] 에서 보여준 솔로곡의 연장선으로 많은 곡을 준비하였지만, 우리라는 주제를 통해 전달하고자 하는 메세지를 위해 과감히 포기하고 단체곡의 조화를 기획하였다.
전 작들과는 확연한 차이를 두고 있는 이번 앨범은 EXID 가 보여준 EXID 만의 음악 구성을 과감히 탈피하여 새로운 시도를 담아냈다.
호소력 짙은 보이스를 바탕으로 구성되던 곡의 흐름은 DROP 을 통해 한층 세련돼졌고 강한 어투의 가사로 EXID 만의 음악을 완성하였다.
새로운 시도와 변화를 꾀한 타이틀곡 이외에도 녹음을 하면서 멤버들이 수차례 눈물을 흘려 녹음이 중단되었던 팬송 ‘WE ARE..’를 비롯한 수록곡 들은 트랜디하지만 EXID만의 매력을 담아내어 독특한 분위기를 자아낸다.
