That day, too, we were gathered in a place where no one had called us.

We have recorded five waves that move fiercely and shape their own forms in places untouched by public attention. Through this album, EVNNE personally collected and mixed the sounds they love, discovering a new kind of joy in the process. Rather than listening to what others like, they listened to what drives them right now. The moment the five members gather in the same place, making their own sounds and reacting to one another, those fragments gradually build up into EVNNE's unique music.

The cover of this album captures a day in the lives of the five members who have become a 'music collecting club.' Wearing ID cards around their necks, they wander through familiar spaces, listening intently to sounds and scenes they would normally have carelessly overlooked. From the resonance of the air beneath an underpass, the moment sunlight breaks, bicycles carrying speakers, the vibrations created by trains and cars, to the sounds flowing through alleys—these diverse sounds and images accumulate into a single record within the gaze of the five members.

The pieces gathered in this way become another form of music on the rooftop where the members come together. It is a time to listen, talk, joke, and enjoy the things they love while looking in the same direction. Their lack of need for grand reasons or validation from others is EVNNE's most honest attitude toward music.
