‘DAYDREAM’은 한낮에 꾸는 꿈과 한낮에 뜨는 달을 표현해낸 앨범으로, ‘환상’, ‘허상’, ‘공상’, ‘헛된 꿈’에 불과하지만, 결코 깨어나고 싶지 않은 꿈을 의미한다.
앨범은 ‘Memory’ - ‘Nightmare’ - ‘Daydream’으로 이어지는 세 가지 꿈(夢) 콘셉트로 이뤄졌다. 과거 ‘Memory’는 행복했던 순간을 다시 회상함으로써 되돌아가고 싶은 나의 바람을 담은 꿈이며, 현재 ‘Nightmare’는 홀로 남겨져 부정하고 싶은 현실을 마치 악몽처럼 비유하여 꿈이라면 깨고 싶지만 꿈이 아닌 현실이기에 벗어날 수 없음을 표현했다. 마지막 ‘Daydream’은 비현실적인 꿈을 통해서나마 이루지 못했던 우리의 미래를 꿈꾸며, 깨어나고 싶지 않은 안타까운 마음을 담아냈다.
