'On My Way' is Bumkey's third studio album, completing the time and life he has steadily accumulated since the release of his first studio album in 2016 into a single narrative, capturing the current Bumkey most completely through the long breath of a studio album.

This album does not speak of a life without wavering. Everyone faces moments of choice and lives while sometimes wavering. What matters is not losing oneself amidst that process and ultimately walking one's own path. 'On My Way' is the condensed essence of Bumkey's music and life, which have grown stronger as he passed through those times.

Bumkey’s distinctive musical color, which freely traverses hip-hop and jazz centered on R&B and soul, remains intact in this album. In particular, he has added depth to the album through close collaboration with artists who have established their own unique musical worlds in their respective fields, such as BewhY, Justis, Lilboi, G.Soul, Tama, and Horim. Bumkey’s musical prowess in blending diverse musical personalities into a single flow clearly demonstrates why he has long been a leading musician in Korean R&B.

Furthermore, family stories form a significant axis of this album; tracks such as '2006,' which captures the moment Bumkey first met his wife, and 'No Need,' featuring his son Gianni, along with various emotions and moments encountered in life, have made this album even more sincere.

'On My Way' captures the present of a musician who has ultimately walked his own path, rather than a retrospective looking back on the past. It is also Bumkey's firmest declaration that he will continue to walk his own path, no matter what uncertainties may come in the future.

On My Way'는 지난 2016년 발매한 정규 1집 이후 꾸준히 쌓아온 시간과 삶을 하나의 서사로 완성한 범키의 세 번째 정규 앨범으로, 정규 앨범이라는 긴 호흡으로 지금의 범키를 가장 온전하게 담아냈다.

이번 앨범은 흔들림 없는 삶을 이야기하지 않는다. 누구나 선택의 순간을 마주하고 때로는 흔들리며 살아간다. 중요한 것은 그 과정 속에서도 자신을 잃지 않고 끝내 자신만의 길을 걸어가는 일이다. 'On My Way'는 그 시간을 지나며 더욱 단단해진 범키의 음악과 삶이 응축된 결정체다.

R&B와 소울을 중심으로 힙합과 재즈를 자유롭게 넘나드는 범키 특유의 음악적 색채는 이번 앨범에서도 역시 유효한데, 특히 비와이, 저스디스, 릴보이, 지소울, 따마, 호림 등 각자의 영역에서 자신만의 음악 세계를 구축해온 아티스트들과의 긴밀한 협업을 통해 앨범의 깊이를 더했다. 서로 다른 음악적 개성을 하나의 흐름으로 어우러지게 만들어 낸 범키의 음악적 역량은 왜 범키가 오랜 시간 한국 R&B를 이끌어온 뮤지션인지를 여실히 보여준다.

또한, 가족의 이야기도 이번 앨범의 중요한 한 축을 이루는데, 범키가 아내와 처음 만난 순간을 담은 '2006', 아들 지아니와 함께한 'No Need'를 비롯해 삶 속에서 마주한 다양한 감정과 순간들이 이번 앨범을 더욱 진솔하게 완성했다.
