The title song 'Thriller' of the third mini-album enhances the quality of the song by adding the rough voices of the BTOB members to the sharp string sound and strong beat. In particular, the composition of the song, which unfolds without a break, and the rap of Jung Il-hoon and Lee Min-hyuk, who seem to run without hesitation, completed a more tense 'thriller'. In addition, the album image was also filled with the strong and mature masculinity of the BTOB members that were latent. BTOB, who is also good at composing and writing lyrics, took the first step as a composer by directly participating in many of the songs in this album. 긴장감 넘치는 ‘스릴러’로 돌아온 비투비

‘비밀’, ‘아버지’, ‘WOW’, ‘두 번째 고백’을 통해 댄스와 발라드의 장르를 넘나들며 퍼포먼스와 가창력을 모두 갖춘 아이돌로 사랑 받아 온 비투비가 돌아왔다. 세 번째 미니앨범의 타이틀 곡 ‘스릴러’는 날카롭게 날 선 듯한 스트링 사운드와 강한 비트에 비투비 멤버들의 거친 보이스를 더해 곡의 퀄리티를 높였다. 특히 쉴 틈 없이 전개되는 곡의 구성과 거침없이 질주하는 듯한 정일훈과 이민혁의 랩은 더욱 긴장감 넘치는 ‘스릴러’를 완성시켰다. 뿐만 아니라 앨범 이미지 역시 잠재되어 있던 비투비 멤버들의 강인하고 성숙한 남성미로 가득 채웠다. 작사 작곡에도 능한 비투비는 이번 앨범 다수의 곡에 직접 참여하며 작곡가로서의 첫 발걸음을 내디뎠다. 특히 수록 곡 ‘왜 이래’는 큐브의 선배 가수 비스트 이기광과 임현식이 공동 작업하고, 이민혁, 정일훈이 작사에 참여한 곡으로 귓가를 자극하는 몽환적인 사운드와 반복되는 후렴구가 아련하고 애틋한 감성을 자극한다. 불확실한 미래에 대한 두려움으로 가득한 연습생 시절에 문득 밤하늘의 빛나는 별을 보며 시작된 이야기로 내가 누군가를 바라보며 꿈꾸는 일들이 나 또한 누군가의 꿈이 될 것이라는 비투비의 이야기를 담았다. 이 외에도 재치 있는 가사가 돋보이는 ‘내가 니 남자였을 때’와 사랑에 빠진 남자의 마음을 솔직하게 표현한 곡 ‘Catch Me’, 곧 사랑에 빠질 것 같은 기분이 드는 곡 ‘크리스탈 같이’까지 비투비의 다채로운 음악들이 담겨 있다.
