[JTBC Fri-Sat drama “The Host” OST]

An album containing all the sound sources of the JTBC Friday-Saturday drama “The Host” OST will be released.

For this “Monster,” music director “Ha Geun-young” took charge of the overall music of the drama, completing a high-quality OST with sensuous production and sophisticated song selection. In particular, the breathtaking psychological warfare and tension between Lee Dong-sik (played by Shin Ha-kyun) and Han Joo-won (played by Yeo Jin-goo), complex emotional lines between various characters, and various devices and situations that maximize the genre of thriller play are harmonized with various music. It further enhanced the atmosphere and immersion.

Beginning with the title song “The Night,” which was decorated with a suspenseful ending with singer Choi Baek-ho’s mature and appealing voice, BIBI’s mysterious voice captures the story of the main character searching for the truth in a frozen time. “Timeless,” “Empty,” which sophisticatedly expresses the gloominess of the song with ‘Car the Garden’’s unique tone and excellent interpretation of the song, and a lyrical emotional ballad completed with ‘Seonwoo Jung-a’s delicate singing method,’ which makes even the sound of breathing focus. The quality of the OST was improved with various songs such as “Towards” and many talented artists participating. In addition, 'Ha Geun-young' music director and his music team worked on it, and it was inserted into every scene of the drama, and the performance songs that brought liveliness and tension to the play were included, enhancing the completeness of the OST album.

Meanwhile, JTBC's Friday-Saturday drama "The Host" is a psychological tracking thriller depicting the story of two monstrous men in Manyang, 'Who is the monster! It constantly asks the question, 'Is it you, me, or us', and meticulously pursues the multifaceted nature of the human being hidden behind the incident.

이번 “괴물”은 “하근영” 음악감독이 드라마의 전반적인 음악을 맡아 감각적인 프로듀싱과 세련된 선곡으로 수준 높은 OST를 완성시켰다. 특히, 이동식(신하균 분)과 한주원(여진구 분) 사이의 숨막히는 심리전과 긴장감, 다양한 등장인물들 간의 복잡한 감정선, 그리고 스릴러라는 극의 장르를 극대화시키는 여러 장치와 상황들이 다양한 음악들과 어우러지며 극의 분위기와 몰입감을 한층 더 끌어올렸다.
