Description (Translated):

Three musicians, three instruments, three islands.
Abad's first full-length album, *Archipelago*, captures the time when the independent islands of the ajaeng, violin, and percussion players face each other with their unique resonances. It focuses on the sounds that collide, diverge, and permeate one another, as well as the music emerging and flowing in this very moment. Just as islands come together to form a single map, *Archipelago* is finally completed within the resonance created by Abad.

1. Prelude
Dots and islands gather and move in one direction.
2. Tepui
Trapped in the clouds, the depths far below are dizzying. The wide, flat mountain does not rise or fall but stands towering and detached.
3. Habitual thoughts
Things of the past endlessly sink. And suddenly rise up, blurring our vision.
4. Weeds | Wild growth (Album ver.)
In the place where nothing remains after a typhoon swept through, life begins to sprout from the ground. Do weeds have an age? Without a single observer, they produce leaves large enough to cast distinct shadows. Growing quietly and tirelessly anytime and anywhere, weeds contemplate boredom and weariness.
5. Swirl ⎮Triangle swirl (Album ver.)
The surrounding sea begins to churn ceaselessly. The vortex created by the wind incessantly sucks in everything around it. Constantly sinking into the swirling vortex, it converges to the end.
6. Irregular Wave ⎮Otherworldly surge (Album ver.)
There are no regular waves. When they will come, when they will leave, and how big they will come—endless waves are unpredictable.
7. Blue hole
The ocean within the ocean is dangerously beautiful.
8. Plum Blossom
It blooms in spring, facing the cold air that remains after winter has ended. The power of vitality sprouting amidst the cold of early spring is dynamic.
9. Dormant Volcano (Album ver.)
A state where lava boils beneath without erupting. It is a continuous state of anxiety, teetering on the brink of explosion. We are living within an unobservable flow that pushes us away and burns us.
10. Beteulga
Nevertheless, life has rules. Amidst continuous movement and the repetition of a fixed life, it creates rhythm, flow, and patterns, weaving its own path.
11. Sprout in verdure
I run ceaselessly across the fields of early summer. A sensation of heat gradually rises, cold beads of sweat trickle down my neck, and soon, as a refreshing breeze brushes past, the heat turns into freshness.
12. The blue whale
Preparations for departure are complete. We unfurl the sails toward the unknown and set off in search of something new. Even if the ship loses its way or sometimes encounters reefs, we will move forward.
13. Land of caldera
The island consists of a deep sea, vast land, and a massive volcano. As the island, where energy had been condensed, begins to move, everything starts to explode. After the explosions cease, only the caldera remains on the island, awaiting new life once again.

세 명의 연주자, 세 개의 악기, 세 개의 섬.
아바드의 첫 정규앨범 〈군도(Archipelago)〉는 아쟁, 바이올린, 퍼커션 연주자들 각각의 독립된 섬이, 고유한 울림으로 서로를 마주하는 시간을 담아낸다. 부딪히고, 어긋나며 서로에게 스며드는 소리와 지금 이 순간 발생하고 흘러가는 음악에 집중한다. 섬들이 모여 하나의 지도를 그리듯, 아바드가 만들어내는 공명 속에서 비로소 군도는 완성된다.

점과 섬들이 모여 한방향으로 나아간다.
2. 테푸이⎮Tepui
구름 속에 갇혀 저 아래 밑은 까마득하다. 넓고 평평한 산은 위로 아래로 향하지 않고 우뚝하니 떨어져있다.
3. 습관적떠오름⎮Habitual thoughts
지나간 것들은 끊임없이 가라앉는다. 그리고 불현듯 떠올라 우리의 시야를 어지럽힌다.
4. 잡초⎮Wild growth (Album ver.)
태풍이 휩쓸고 지나가 남아있는게 없는 자리. 땅에서 생명체가 움트기 시작한다. 잡초에 나이가 있을까. 지켜보는 이 하나 없이 그림자가 뚜렷하게 질 정도의 잎을 만들어낸다. 언제 어디서든 지칠 줄 모르게 조용히 자라나는 잡초는, 지겨움과 지침을 생각하지 않는다.
5. 소용돌이⎮Triangle swirl (Album ver.)
주변의 바다가 끊임없이 요동치기 시작한다. 바람이 만들어낸 소용돌이는 쉴 새 없이 주변의 것을 빨아들인다. 휘몰아치는 소용돌이에 끊임없이 침잠하여 끝으로 수렴한다.
6. 불규칙파도⎮Otherworldly surge (Album ver.)
규칙적인 파도란 없다. 언제 올지, 언제 떠날 지, 얼마나 크게 올 것인지. 끝없는 파도는 예상할 수 없다.
7. 블루홀⎮Blue hole
바다 속 바다, 위험하리만치 아름답다.
8. 매화⎮Maehwa
겨울이 끝나고 남아있는 차가운 공기를 맞으며 봄에 피어난다. 초봄의 추위 속에서 움트는 생동의 힘은 역동적이다.
9. 휴화산⎮Dormant volcano (Album ver.)
용암이 분출되지 않고 아래에서 끓는 상태. 터질 듯 말 듯 불안함의 연속이다. 우리는, 우리를 밀어내고 태우는 관측 불가능한 흐름 속에서 살고 있다.
10. 베틀가⎮Beteulga
그럼에도 삶에는 규칙이 있다. 지속적인 움직임과 일정한 삶의 반복 속에서 리듬과 흐름, 패턴을 만들며 나름의 길을 직조한다.
11. 푸른새잎아리⎮Sprout in verdure
쉼없이 초여름의 들판을 달린다. 점차 열감이 차오르고 차가운 땀방울이 목덜미를 흐르고, 이내 상쾌한 바람이 스치자 열기는 상쾌함으로 변화한다.
12. 고래⎮The blue whale
출항 준비가 끝났다. 미지를 향해 돛을 펼쳐 새로운 것을 찾으러 떠난다. 배는 길을 잃거나 때로 암초를 만날지라도, 우리는 나아갈 것이다.
13. 칼데라의 땅⎮Land of caldera
섬은 짙은 바다와 광활한 대지, 거대한 화산으로 이루어져있다. 에너지가 응축되어있던 섬이 움직이기 시작하면서 모든 것이 폭발하기 시작한다. 폭발이 끝난 섬에는 칼데라만이 남아 다시 새로운 생명체를 기다린다.
