For the record, I'd like to start by saying that I have ordered from this site three times before this order.
I pre-ordered both the Tyuyo & Ddangyo plush keyrings from the Mighteez line on June 27, and received them minorly damaged on October 28. The release date stated in the description was October 6, and considering I had paid extra for 3-7 business day shipping, I assumed I would get it within those 3-7 business days. When I don't even get an update in my Shop app within those days regarding my items, not even a 'preparing shipment' notification, I get confused. I reach out to their customer service with two emails in the same thread, requesting my items be sent out.
I get a response on the 27th with information regarding my order. I was told that they were closed for Chuseok, which isn't an issue nor what I have gripes with, and that they sent my items out on the 15th of October. They also added an addendum that my second email was an issue in some way, pushing back the chain of response (for future reference, keep everything in one email, even if they don't respond quickly). However, though, according to my Shop app, the label was actually created and information was sent to the shipping company on October 23rd. The FedEx link I was sent by customer service that has all my tracking information even corresponds that date.
My question and confusion stems from two places. My first question is why it wasn't stated in the description of the item that the shipping would be delayed due to the holiday? If they knew they were going to cease operation for a week, including the release date of the product, why didn't they add an addendum to the description saying that shipping would be delayed? My second question is why I was provided with two different shipping dates, one by them and another by FedEx?
Overall, this transaction felt confusing and vaguely shady. So much so that I don't think I'll buy from this site again. If you want to retain customers, please put a little more forethought into communicating with them about when and how they might receive their product.
Absolutely love them and the quality along with the photo card just best thing ever! Definitely very much worth the wait for these, so happy with this purchase.
