I came out to the downtown area for the first time in a long while to meet a friend.
As I was looking at people, I noticed someone who was a little different from the others.

It was a person holding a sign that said, "Buy Laughter."

“Do you have any intention of laughing?”

The man came and spoke to me.

“Just smile once. You can just smile or laugh. If you can laugh out loud, that would be even better!”

“You’re buying laughter?”

“Because my laughter is sold out.”

The man said with a smile

“Huh? Aren’t you laughing right now?”

“No, this smile is fake.”

That was a strange thing to say. The real laughter sold out..

“It’s not that hard to just smile, but… are you going to give me money if I smile?”

“It varies depending on the intensity of the laughter. If you laugh out loud, you can get up to three million won.”

Three million won just for one laugh? Even if it was a scam, it wasn't that much of a loss since it was just one laugh.

“Just smile whenever you want, I will see your smile and value it.”

“Then I’ll laugh once.. hahaha”

“No, that’s not real laughter. I only buy genuine laughter.”

“Just a minute. I can really laugh! There are a lot of people here and I feel a little embarrassed laughing in front of people I’m meeting for the first time! Just give me a moment!”

They said I could make money just by smiling once, so I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity.

As I was thinking back, I remembered a silly joke my friend told me and I couldn't help but laugh.

“That’s it! I’ll give you a million won for your smile. If you smile harder, I can give you even more.”

“Are you saying that if you laugh the loudest, you can get three million won?”

Wanting to make money, I turned on my phone and started searching for crazy funny things.

“Phew.. puhahahaha look at this”

Once you start laughing, it's not that hard to laugh again.

How much time had passed? When I came to my senses, I was holding countless amounts of money in my hands.

But maybe I got tired of laughing for so long? Even though I had a lot of money, there was no smile on my face.

※ Poor playback
1) If you use a turntable without a tonearm or weight adjustment function (mainly all-in-one models), you may experience a skipping phenomenon when playing tracks with large dynamic sound deviations. This is mostly caused by the light tonearm weight.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for playback defects caused by device issues, so we recommend playing the product on a device with adjustable tone arm.
2) Discs may not play smoothly due to static electricity and dust. This can usually be resolved by removing it with a special product.
3) If dust accumulates on the needle, playback may not be smooth.

※ Disk abnormality
1) The disc surface may become warped or warped. Returns or exchanges are only possible if there is a problem with playback.
2) In order to minimize distortion of the playback range and maintain maximum consistency during repeated playback, the disc center hole diameter is sometimes manufactured small. If it does not fit the turntable spindle, the problem can be solved by adjusting the center hole using a special product, etc.

친구를 만나기 위해 오랜만에 번화가로 나왔다.
사람들을 보고 있던 그때 내 눈에는 다른 사람들과는 조금 다른 사람이 눈에 들어왔다.

<웃음 삽니다>라는 팻말을 들고 있는 어떤 사람이었다.

“혹시 웃음 파실 생각 없으신가요? "

남자는 다가와서 말을 걸었다

"그저 한번 웃어주시면 됩니다. 그저 미소만 지어도 좋고 웃어주셔도 좋습니다. 크게 박장대소 해주시면 더할 나위 없구요!”

“웃음을 사신다구요? ”

“저의 웃음이 매진되었기 때문이지요”

남자는 미소 지으며 말했다

“예? 지금 웃고 계신 거 아닌가요?”

“아니요 이 웃음은 거짓 웃음입니다”

이상한 말이었다. 진짜 웃음이 매진되었다니..

“그냥 웃어 드리는 건 어렵지 않은 일이긴 한데.. 그럼 웃으면 돈을 주시는 건가요?”

“그건 웃음에 강도에 따라 다르게 드립니다. 박장대소하면 삼백만 원까지도 드립니다”

그냥 한번 웃는데 삼백만 원? 그래도 그냥 한번 웃을 뿐인데 이 정도는 사기라고 하더라도 그렇게 손해 보는 것도 아니었다.

“원할 때 웃으면 됩니다 제가 웃음을 보고 가치를 매겨 드리죠”

“그럼 한번 웃어볼게요.. 하하하”

“아니요 그건 진짜 웃음이 아닙니다. 저는 진실된 웃음만을 사거든요”

“잠시만요 저 진짜 웃을 수 있어요! 여기 사람도 많고 처음 뵙는 분 앞에 웃으려니 좀 민망해서 그래요! 잠시만 시간을 좀 주세요!”

그냥 한번 웃으면 돈을 벌 수 있다고 하는데 이 기회를 버리고 싶지 않았다.

생각을 돌이켜보다가 친구가 말한 실없는 농담이 생각이 나서 나도 모르게 웃음이 새어 나왔다

“바로 그겁니다! 당신의 웃음으로 백만 원을 드리겠습니다 더 크게 웃어주신다면 더욱 많은 돈을 드릴 수도 있구요."

“진짜 제일 크게 웃으면 삼백만 원도 가능하단 이야기죠?”

돈을 벌고 싶었던 나는 핸드폰을 켜고 미친 듯이 웃긴 것들을 찾기 시작했다.

“푸흡.. 푸하하하 이거 보세요”

한번 웃음이 터지니 다시 웃는 것은 그리 어려운 일이 아니었다

얼마나 지났을까? 정신을 차려보니 내 손에는 셀 수 없이 많은 돈이 들려있었다.

하지만 한참을 웃어서 지친 걸까? 수많은 돈이 생겼음에도 내 얼굴에는 웃음이라고는 찾아볼 수가 없었다.

“이제 당신의 웃음은 매진된 것 같네요”

그 말을 듣고 앞을 바라봤을 때 내 앞의 남자는 누구보다 환하고 행복해 보이는 웃음을 짓고 있었다.

※ 재생 불량
1) 톤암 혹은 무게 조절 기능이 없는 턴테이블을 사용하시는 경우, (주로 올인원 형태 모델) 다이내믹 사운드의 편차가 큰 트랙을 재생할 때 튀는 현상이 발생할 수 있는데 이는 대부분 가벼운 톤암 무게가 원인입니다.
기기 문제로 인해 발생하는 재생 불량 현상에 대해서는 반품/교환이 불가하니 톤암 조절이 가능한 기기에서 재생하실 것을 권유 드립니다.
2) 디스크는 정전기와 먼지로 인해 재생이 원활하지 않은 경우가 있습니다. 전용 제품으로 이를 제거하면 대부분 해결됩니다.
3) 바늘에 먼지가 쌓이는 경우에도 재생이 원활하지 않을 수 있습니다.

※ 디스크 이상
1) 디스크 표면이 울렁거리거나 휘어지는 경우가 있습니다. 재생에 이상이 있는 경우에만 반품이나 교환이 가능합니다.
2) 재생 음역의 왜곡을 최소화하고 반복 재생 시에도 최대한 일관되게 유지되도록 디스크 센터 홀 구경이 작게 제작되는 경우가 있습니다. 턴테이블 스핀들에 맞지 않는 경우에는 전용 제품 등을 이용하여 센터 홀을 조정하시면 해결됩니다.
3) 간혹 디스크에 미세한 잔흠집이 남아있거나 마감이 깨끗하지 않은 경우가 있습니다. 재생에 이상이 있는 경우에만 반품이나 교환이 가능합니다.

※ 컬러 디스크
1) 컬러 디스크는 웹 이미지와 실제 색상이 차이가 날 수 있습니다.
