"LOOP" is a song inspired by the moment when, while trying to get the doll you want at a claw machine, you harbor the hope that "it might work this time" and end up repeating "just one more time."

It expresses the irony of starting with simple curiosity and small expectations, yet becoming harder to give up as failures repeat, by likening it to being trapped in a loop. It captures the image of endlessly reaching out again for a goal that seems within reach but remains elusive, repeating the cycle of hope and frustration, and eventually becoming unable to escape the process itself.

'LOOP' is an electro-pop track based on fast-tempo electric pop, centering on beat-crushed retro arcade sounds and glitchy textures. Through electronic sounds reminiscent of arcade games and a progression that builds tension like facing a boss battle, it creates a sense of immersion that makes you feel like you are jumping into the next challenge before the first attempt is even finished.

In particular, the signature arcade sound that repeats throughout the song is directly connected to the concept of the song's 'Loop'. This sound that keeps returning coincides with the situation of repeating the same challenge while shouting "Just one more time," and embodies the 'LOOP' itself—the feeling of returning to the beginning the more you try to escape.

For this song as well, the 1VERSE members directly participated in writing and composing it. Adrian McKinnon, who has worked on songs for representative K-pop artists such as EXO, SHINee, and NCT 127, collaborated with 1VERSE once again following 'SHATTERED' and 'WABIF (Wide Awake Before I Fall),' and producer Skylar Mones, who worked on Dua Lipa's 'Future Nostalgia,' joined the team. They developed the theme of claw machines, which originated from the members' own experiences, and expressed it through the repetitive story of 'LOOP' and game-like sounds.

LOOP'는 인형뽑기에서 원하는 인형을 손에 넣기 위해 “이번에는 될 것 같다”는 기대를 품고, 결국 “한 번만 더”를 반복하게 되는 순간에서 영감을 받은 곡이다.

단순한 호기심과 작은 기대에서 시작하지만, 실패가 거듭될수록 오히려 포기하기 어려워지는 아이러니를 루프에 갇힌 상태에 빗대어 표현했다. 잡힐 듯 잡히지 않는 목표를 향해 끊임없이 다시 손을 뻗으며 기대와 좌절을 반복하고, 어느새 그 과정 자체에서 빠져나오지 못하게 되는 모습을 담았다.

'LOOP'는 빠른 템포의 일렉트릭 팝을 기반으로, 비트크러시(bit-crush)된 레트로 아케이드 사운드와 글리치한 질감을 중심에 둔 일렉트로 팝 트랙이다. 오락실 게임을 연상시키는 전자음과 보스전을 마주했을 때처럼 긴장감을 끌어올리는 전개를 통해, 한 번의 시도가 끝나기도 전에 다시 다음 도전에 뛰어드는 듯한 몰입감을 만들어낸다.

특히 곡 전반에 걸쳐 반복되는 시그니처 아케이드 사운드는 곡의 'Loop'라는 개념과 직접 맞닿아 있다. 계속해서 되돌아오는 이 소리는 “한 번만 더”를 외치며 같은 도전을 반복하는 상황과 맞물리며, 빠져나오려 할수록 다시 처음으로 돌아오는 'LOOP'를 사운드 자체로 구현한다.

이번 곡 역시 1VERSE 멤버들이 직접 작사·작곡에 참여했다. EXO, SHINee, NCT 127 등 K-pop 대표 아티스트들의 곡을 작업해 온 Adrian McKinnon이 'SHATTERED'와 'WABIF (Wide Awake Before I Fall)'에 이어 다시 한번 1VERSE와 호흡을 맞췄으며, Dua Lipa의 'Future Nostalgia'에 참여한 프로듀서 Skylar Mones가 합류했다. 멤버들의 경험에서 출발한 인형뽑기라는 소재를 함께 발전시켜, 'LOOP'의 반복되는 이야기와 게임적인 사운드로 풀어냈다.
