밴드 'The Tunas'는 사랑, 이별, 꿈 그리고 젊음을
역동적인 로큰롤과 서정적인 모던록으로 녹여내어
그들만의 바다를 항해하는 낭만의 사나이들이다.
드넓은 대양으로 나아가기 위한 준비는 끝났다.
2015년 결성된 밴드 'The Tunas' 의 20대 마지막이자
새로운 출항을 알린다.
'Will You Remember Me', '밤' 그리고 'Surfer' 와 같은
20대 초반의 에너지가 느껴지는 곡들과
'Luna, Dance Floor' 그리고 'Mermaid Blue' 와 같은
한층 더 성숙해진 곡들로 구성된
20대의 마지막을 알리는 앨범이다.
이번 앨범 '바다가 우릴 비추면' 은
바다가 우리를 비추는 순간 보고, 듣고, 느낄 수 있는
감정들을 노래로 풀어보았다.

어두운 밤하늘에 반짝이는 별빛이 당신을 비출 때
'영원히 당신의 기억 속에 남겠다' 다짐했다.
부디 나를 잊지 말아 주세요.

기억 저편에 녹아 있는 이루어질 수 없는 사랑과
입을 맞추며 얘기하던 나의 꿈
지금에 와서 잡으려 해도 잡을 수 없는 그 시절의
추억을 꺼내보았다.
Luna, Dance Floor
사랑이 깊어지는 모습을
붉게 물든 하늘과 바다 그리고 따뜻한 해변에서
춤을 추는 연인에 빗대어 표현했다.
춤을 출 때 아름다운 밤하늘이
그들을 비추는 조명이 되어주고
온 세상이 그들만을 위해 존재하는
느낌을 상상하며 들어보자.

파도가 칠 때면 바다는 하얗게 부서지고,
파도 치는 소리는 영원히 멈추지 않는다.
바다는 변하지 않을 것이다.
그런 바다가 변할 때면, 멈출 때면
'당신에 대한 마음을 포기 하겠노라.'
이야기하는 광기 어린 집착과 맹목적인 사랑을
그려보았다.

강렬한 태양빛 아래 거침없이 파도를 타는
바다 사나이는 사랑 또한 거침이 없다.
뜨거운 바다 사나이의 거침없는 사랑 이야기를
거칠고 꾸밈없는 로큰롤 사운드로 그려보았다.
