Song Sohee 1st EP [Aerial Dance]

We live by choosing endless paths. Wherever I go, the path I take will soon become my path, so I just face every path as if dancing passionately. And I support the love that greets me on those roads.

My first mini album [Air Dance] is a new path I discovered within myself. ‘Nature’ is the path where my voice originated and the one I thought most resembled. ‘Nature’ becomes the background for the four songs in this album.
In time, there are fields, deserts, seas, and forests, and various aspects of love are discussed within them.

01. Day and Night Song

Even people who have been together for a long time and loved each other often become dull to each other's kindness as time passes. On an ordinary day, as we were walking through the fields together as always, I hope that the faces I suddenly saw will remind me of the gratitude that had grown dull and the fond times we knew only about each other.

[This is a quiet 'waltz' style track based on classical piano inspired by Nordic pop. The melody is delivered with a soft voice, and the dream-like combination of the string section and synthesizer builds up layers in arpeggios, heightening the sound.]

02. Aerial dance

In this endlessly unfolding place, we live as we each find our own path. However, it seems that the path is not always clearly visible. When I feel confused and have questions like this, I look at myself within myself. My heavy heart is relieved. rises into the air It dances passionately for me, as if throwing itself into the red sun. “Ganggangsullae”

[It is an electro-pop track with an ethnic mood, expressed through a voice and melody line that captures Korean sentiment.]

03. Against the dark sea

Even precious relationships can be difficult at times. It's like being in the darkest part of the deep sea.
This relationship, which has sunk furthest from the sun, seems to be descending to the bottom of the deep darkness, as if it will no longer reach the sun. But you and I are still breathing into each other. I want to go up again.

[It is an electro-pop sound song where warm harp arpeggios and cold synthesizer pads on drum breakbeats meet like conflicting fire and ice.]

04. Deer God

I like the work ‘Princess Mononoke’.
The deer god, my favorite character in the work, governs life and death, that is, life.
The 'Deer God' I sing about can be any object, but it is also the deep inner self that exists in everyone. We live in search of life from our own ‘Deer God’. To me life is love.

[This is a song created by combining synthesizer and percussion and adding rhythm with drum sounds to create an exciting yet mysterious feeling. It is a track with a lively electro pop sound that provides fun by instantly switching from a calm verse to a rhythmic chorus.]

끝없이 펼쳐진 길들을 선택하며 산다. 어디로 가든, 내가 가는 길이 곧 나의 길이 될 테니 그저 뜨거운 춤을 추듯 모든 길을 마주한다. 그리고 그 길들 위에서 나를 맞이하는 사랑들을 응원한다.

나의 첫 미니앨범 [공중무용]은 내가 발견한 내 안의 새로운 길이다. 스스로 내 목소리가 시작된 길이자 가장 닮아있다고 생각한 '자연'. 바로 '자연'이 이 앨범 속 네 곡의 배경이 된다.
시간 속에 들판, 사막, 바다, 숲이 있고 그 안에서 다양한 사랑의 모습들을 이야기한다.

01. 주야곡(晝野曲)
들,
오랜 시간 함께하며 사랑한 이들도 시간이 흐름에 따라 서로의 다정함에 종종 무뎌지곤 한다. 평범한 어느날의 낮, 언제나처럼 함께 들판을 걷다 문득 바라본 얼굴에서 무뎌져 가던 고마움과 서로만 알던 애틋한 시간이 다시금 떠오르길 바라며.

[노르딕 팝에서 영감을 얻은 고전 피아노를 기반으로 만든 조용한 '왈츠' 풍 트랙이다. 부드러운 목소리로 멜로디를 전달하며, 꿈 같은 느낌의 스트링 섹션과 신디사이저의 조합이 아르페지오로 층층이 쌓이면서 사운드가 고조된다.]

사막,
사막에 사는 우리들.
끝없이 펼쳐진 이곳에서 우리는 각자의 길을 찾으며 산다. 그러나 언제나 길이 잘 보이진 않는 것 같다. 이처럼 헷갈리고 의문이 들 때 내 안에 있는 나를 바라본다. 무거운 마음이 놓아진다. 공중으로 떠오른다. 저기 붉은 태양에 몸을 던지듯 나를 위한 뜨거운 춤을 춘다. "강강술래"

03. 진한 바다를 거슬러
바다,
소중한 관계도 힘겨울 때는 있다. 마치 깊은 바닷속 가장 진한 곳에 있는 것처럼 말이다.
해로부터 가장 먼 아래로 침잠한 이 관계가 더는 태양에 닿지 않을 것처럼 진한 어둠의 해저로 내려가는 듯하다. 그러나 너와 나는 여전히 서로에게 숨을 불어넣고 있다. 다시 올라가고 싶은 마음이다.

[드럼의 브레이크비트 위에 따뜻한 하프 아르페지오, 차가운 신디사이저 패드가 상반된 불과 얼음처럼 만나는 일렉트로 팝 사운드의 곡이다.]

숲,
'원령공주'라는 작품을 좋아한다.
작품 안에서 내가 가장 좋아하는 사슴신은 삶과 죽음, 즉 생명을 관장한다.
내가 노래하는 '사슴신'은 어떤 대상이 될 수도 있지만 누구에게나 존재하는 본인의 깊은 내면 자체이기도 하다. 우리는 저마다의 '사슴신'에게 생명을 찾으며 산다. 내게 생명은 사랑이다.

[신디사이저와 퍼커션이 합을 이루고 드럼 사운드로 리듬을 더해 신나지만 신비로운 느낌이 들게끔 만든 곡이다. 차분한 벌스에서 리듬감 있는 코러스로 순간 전환하며 재미를 준 활기찬 일렉트로 팝 사운드의 트랙이다.]
